We had a midstream pivot of project managers, and very much enjoyed the additional structure to resources that followed our new project manager. I can not say enough about the overall experience, however, I really enjoyed working with a very specific group of women. ### Dot Drives
Donor relationship and management software
— Raising funds while getting donors excited and allowing them to be engaged with the nonprofit for the long term
DOT Drives identified a lack of digital tools supporting smaller nonprofits. They envisioned a platform offering a holistic view of nonprofit giving and helping busy professionals visualize funding requests, donors, and donations.
We helped DOT Drives move out of beta mode into a fully launched first version by refactoring the platform’s backend, bringing more efficiency in the way it was coded and structured. The new form feature was developed and integrated with a payment processor, as well as fresh notes and revamped reminders features.
DOT Drives is helping nonprofits in being more effective and more efficient with donor engagement, which means more funds and more lives are changed.

### OnTarget: HIPAA-compliant mobile app
OnTarget, developed by Abound Health, is an integrated electronic health record (EHR) platform designed for providers supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and mental health needs. While the desktop platform offered strong capabilities in clinical documentation, billing, and compliance, it lacked mobile accessibility, creating significant challenges for field-based caregivers who needed real-time access to schedules, patient data, and documentation tools during visits. As demand for mobile functionality increased, OnTarget sought a solution that could extend its EHR into the field while maintaining high standards for security, usability, and seamless integration with existing systems. Several key challenges drove this need: care providers relied on manual workarounds and post-shift data entry, leading to inefficiencies and errors; Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements demanded accurate time tracking and location validation that were not natively supported; internal engineering resources were fully allocated, limiting the ability to build mobile capabilities in-house; and users expected a consumer-grade experience while still meeting strict HIPAA compliance standards. These limitations resulted in delayed and incomplete documentation, increased compliance risks, inefficient workflows, and growing pressure from customers requesting mobile access. To address these challenges, Dualboot partnered with OnTarget as an extension of its internal product and engineering teams, adopting a phased delivery approach to design and build a mobile solution tailored to field-based care. The collaboration began with a design sprint that mapped caregiver workflows and prioritized features such as shift management, real-time documentation, and EVV-compliant clock-in and clock-out functionality. Core features were developed, including tools for notes and documentation, timesheets, and a centralized Action Center to help users efficie

### FlyExclusive
Customer-facing app for private jet experiences
— Helping flyExclusive meet their milestones
flyExclusive decided they were going to need to hire internal people to meet their development needs, but in the meantime, they’d need a stopgap solution. The search for the next outsourced development provider led flyExclusive to Dualboot. That’s when the company’s customer-facing app project really took off.
Our developers onboarded as if internal to the development team.
The flyExclusive team meets with the developers to scope out the work and get input on the cards and milestones, being directly involved in the sprints and retrospectives. They meet with Dualboot’s Product Director to check how things are going and provide and gather feedback.
The impact:
- flyExclusive has been able to focus on other objectives knowing the mobile side is covered.
- Dualboot developers also helped develop an internal app with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
- The internal team is able to trust the work Dualboot does and focus its attention on reinventing the company and how the company’s operational systems work.

### Bula
Video-to-video Social Challenge App
— A revolutionary blockchain-based social challenge app
The Booty brothers decided to create an app that lets users create a challenge, invite participants, record and upload head-to-head videos, select a judge, create the terms of the challenge and ultimately choose a winner. They needed skilled, reliable Flutter developers with whom they could have a long-term relationship and that could augment all of their skill sets, taking them from startup to a CTO-type role.
From concept to launch in 6 months
Dualboot was tasked with pairing down the concept to a minimum viable product (MVP) and then architecting, designing, and building the entire frontend, while at the same time working with GetChkd to connect their blockchain backend. The app development included passwordless login, creating blockchain environments, wallets with rule sets, securing and sharing data, smart contracts triggering notifications, connecting to distributed storage, and more.
The impact:
- The Bula app is something that didn’t really exist in the gaming and social space before now.
- Really simple and elegant application where users are immediately met with videos of other members challenging and competing in new ways. Everything happens seamlessly in the app without the users being aware of the blockchain backend or Web3 complexities.
- Bula is incredibly scalable. Anything can get added in or pulled out, which makes them poised for growth.

### Boardroom Insiders
Business intelligence platform
— Replatforming a legacy system to build a better, stronger business
Boardroom Insiders was successful and growing but their legacy code base was holding them back. It had been updated over the years, but each additional tweak left it increasingly brittle. In order to scale, they needed a system-wide upgrade.
We re-platformed the entire Boardroom Insiders foundation to support new features and products.
We built a new platform in Ruby on Rails and hosted on AWS in parallel with the old system. Once it was completed, we transitioned them to the new platform with no downtime or disruption.
The impact:
Boardroom Insiders now has 20,000+ profiles available. Can support the creation of 1,000+ profiles per month and has the ability to support new products.

### Strata SFR
Dualboot Partners helped Strata SFR bring its vision for a private, off-market real estate platform to life by acting as an extension of the company’s product team. Together, they built ListHyve, a secure, invitation-only ecosystem that allows property owners to privately market and sell projects to pre-qualified buyers without exposing sensitive information publicly.
Dualboot focused on creating a scalable and user-friendly platform while maintaining strict privacy and access controls. Using an agile, sprint-based approach, the team developed core features such as a dynamic buyer network engine, permission-based access controls, and a modular backend architecture designed for future expansion.
By combining business-focused engineering with close collaboration and rapid iteration, Dualboot helped Strata SFR validate its business model, accelerate time-to-market, and launch a fully functional platform on schedule and within budget. The partnership ultimately enabled Strata SFR to successfully address a major gap in the real estate market by providing a secure alternative to traditional public listing platforms.

### Thirty Capital
Dualboot Partners helped a global veterinary services provider overcome a major roadblock in modernizing its legacy systems by using AI-powered code analysis to rapidly uncover and document its existing architecture.
After the client spent more than eight months attempting to manually map and document their systems without success, Dualboot introduced 3PO, an AI-driven platform designed to autonomously analyze codebases, identify dependencies, and generate structured technical documentation.
In less than four weeks, Dualboot delivered comprehensive architectural overviews, workflow diagrams, dependency maps, and detailed business-level documentation, including epics, features, user stories, and use cases. The platform also uncovered previously unknown technical and business risks that could have caused significant issues during migration.
Beyond the technology itself, Dualboot worked closely with leadership teams to interpret findings, prioritize risks, and create a clear, migration-ready roadmap. This gave both technical and non-technical stakeholders the visibility and alignment needed to move modernization efforts forward with confidence.
The engagement resulted in complete system visibility, significantly reduced migration risk, and an estimated 8x efficiency gain compared to the client’s previous manual documentation efforts.
