We needed to launch our MVP mobile app, with integration points to many "as-a-service" providers to complete our banking tech stack.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I've used the Dualboot team in the past, and had a great experience. We interviewed many other software providers in the NeoBanking space and chose Dualboot because of their ability to execute, technical aptitude, and efficiency of their operations.

MVP build - storyboarding, UI/UX prototype design, front end (mobile) development, back end architecture, and integration with many SaaS providers for KYC, ATM, BaaS, etc.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Around 7 total. Full DevOps team, including project management.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We launched within 12 months, and are quickly iterating to fold in additional features and modules beyond MVP. Very few hiccups (bugs), and the infrastructure is handling the increase in load well.

Great PM team. available at most hours, evenings, and weekends. Tells it like it is without sugarcoating.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They're continuing to grow our company, but are still able to provide great top-to-bottom support.

Nothing major. Solid team.

We moved on from our original developer and needed a partner that could step in and work in our Graph QL blockchain based environment to bring our product to market.

Familiarity with our code and communication were paramount.

Our project started off as an ongoing effort to iterate and improve on our existing technology. Along the way we found other potential revenue streams and Dualboot helped us to transform our existing product to fit the new model as well.

The team size fluctuated based on our current needs. We had one primary project manager who coordinated with the other team members as needed based on the project.

We communicated at least once a week over zoom for team meetings and had slack as our everyday method of communication.

We are a start up, and appreciate the continued support through our growth of concept.

We had a midstream pivot of project managers, and very much enjoyed the additional structure to resources that followed our new project manager. She was a better fit for us, which we never would have discovered without the transition. (They chose to improve through the opportunity to better serve us) As the main point of contact for our end of the project, I appreciated the ability to speak directly with our development team. I believe there were often conversations between my needs and their ability to build it that were better without third party “translation”. I loved having a project manager with the social awareness to let us work with one another.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I can not say enough about the overall experience, however, I really enjoyed working with a very specific group of women. I do not believe this was designed for our project (which is male owned) but I believe it added a really personal connection, and different perspective to the project for me to see very technically intelligent women running this project.

I was introduced to Todd Beulow by our mutual friend Wade Minter.

The project involved, defining requirements of the new infra (scalable, elastic, stable, secure), them building a parallel infrastructure, testing and launch.

Our project manager was Allison plus two engineers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This project not only moved us to a much more scalable AWS environment, but also helped make our deployment process much simpler and consistent.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Workflow was very effective thanks to project manager Allison and weekly status calls.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The company assigned a project manager who had tremendous experience in my vertical industry. So she brought project management and tech expertise, plus had an immediate understanding of our business.
