I needed a website that was easy flowing and not convoluted for the visitor. I also wanted to incorporate specific colors and had a logo design in mind. Josh did a great job with both. He send over multiple logos and designs for me to choose from. I also read great reviews online and spoke to several web design companies. He seemed the most straightforward and honest. I am glad I chose to work with him and his company.

I called Josh and spoke to him over the phone. He was easy to talk to and sounded confident in his abilities, which is very important. I read great reviews online and felt I had the best rapport with him over others I spoke with. The design is better than I imagined and I am glad I chose them.

I spoke to Josh over the phone and provided him with a synopsis of the company and what I was looking for. From there, they went to work on the design. Josh was good with keeping me in the loop and sent me over many web designs and logos to choose from. He was very easy to work with and was very responsive.

I am sure it was an entire team working on the project, but I only had contact with Josh. I definitely prefer it this way. Talking to multiple people can be confusing and is an easy way to create miscommunication. They did a great job.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The design is great. I now have a website to send to potential customers. If they are anything like me, they do research before hiring anyone. The website will give them not only a look into the business, but allows them to get a feel for me because of the detail put into the website. The colors chosen were for a reason and Josh also included an about me which I was able to write.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. I would recommend them for any work, any day of the week to anyone who needs it.

I liked their attention to detail and how personable Josh was during our meetings. There is nothing more you could ask of anyone.

The website redesign was completed on time and under budget. We have received very positive feedback from everyone that visits our site!

Josh communicated via telephone and e-mail. He is very quick to respond to questions and once the website was up and running he continues to be available for questions.

Josh is very quick to respond to my questions and promptly does any work that is needed on the site. When I tried to do something myself and couldn't figure it out, they jumped on boar and helped me get it done!

No - I could not think of anything that he could have done differently.

AFCI - The Association of Film Commissioners International - is a non profit membership organization composed primarily of film commissioners from around the globe. I am the SVP of membership and industry relations.

Our website was created prior to any of the recent administrative staff was on board. Over the past few years a new education platform was built as well as a "community section." We wanted to find a developer who could update the system and find connectivity between all these elements, making it user friendly for the members, and provide a sense of purpose for outside visitors.

The service was recommended to us. The president of the company conducted a meeting and was happy with what he heard.

AFCI needed a developer to work on general fixes. Simultaneously, new leadership came in with the concept of redesigning the website and making it more user friendly. Dray was tasked with finding ways to tie separate websites into the main site and make the functionality more user friendly.

I work specifically with Josh. I know he has other team members but I've not been in direct contact with them.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project is still on going. We've had a change of leadership in the middle of the project, so there has been a learning curve on AFCI's end. Dray Web Service has been accommodating and patient through the process. The new site hasn't yet launched so there are no measurables to offer at this time.

Trello was set up to share functionality issues during the prime of the new development, keeping three different AFCI staff in line with the work needs on Dray Web Services end. At this stage, development needs are handled by one AFCI staffer, with emails and screen shots going to Dray Web Service. They also provide schematics of new services that are shared with AFCI.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Dray Web Service is extremely patient, and they take time to go over issues in layman's terms. They are willing to provide as many redo's per company request as necessary.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Periodically there are some challenges in connecting with Dray Web Service - but these occurrences are rare. Additionally, a task may drop off the radar, so a second email is required - something that I believe happens with every business.

I’m the owner of Jen’s Get Fit Group. I’ve had this online fitness group since 2018 and it now has over 6,000 members who utilize my recorded workouts. My fitness group is pretty much website and Facebook-based.

I worked with a developer back in 2020, but we weren’t on the same page with everything. I hired Dray Web Services to take over the development when it was 75% done.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Dray Web Services first made sure that everything on the backend was working before continuing the development of my WordPress website. They added an affiliate program and features that could allow users to purchase memberships and merchandise. We also worked on a plug-in to prevent the site from being hacked again. 

I now rely on the team to continuously update the website, backup all of the content in it, and fix any issues that may come up.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My marketing company has all of the metrics that relate to the web development work. I will say, though, that Dray Web Services has been very prompt in resolving our issues, especially when the website got hacked. Josh drops everything he’s doing to make sure that our merchandise shop is successful, can accommodate enough traffic, and doesn’t crash. 

How did Dray Web Services perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great at everything. Whatever system or implementation I’m not familiar with, he takes care of. Whenever I have an idea, they either take it on or propose a better solution that can work specifically for my website. I would give them a perfect rating on this front.

We mainly communicate via email and text, since those are the channels I prefer. Josh has been accommodating enough towards that and is quick to respond to either, especially when there’s a crisis. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

What really sets them apart from other developers is their communication and promptness to complete a project or fix an error. With my previous developer, I had to wait 24–48 business hours for a response and a resolution, and I believe it was because they were overworked and understaffed. With Josh, though, everything is resolved immediately. He gets back to me in less than an hour, prioritizes the problem accordingly, and sets a timeline for the fix. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything. I’m completely satisfied and I’ve never had an issue with their services.

Though you may come into the partnership with a certain mindset, it would be to your benefit to let them show you different ideas. They’re flexible, knowledgeable, and creative when it comes to web development.

Dray Web Services is providing us with web and e-commerce development. The website runs in WordPress with a WooCommerce backend, and what they did was manually rebuild the corrupted customer tables from the ground up.

Since then we’ve used them to rebuild and redesign our entire website, install additional security tools, block several IP addresses in the backend, and retained them for monthly maintenance and support.

Once the branding is done, we’ll pass it over to Josh and the team to deliver design options for the website and present them through Figma. I will then present it to the client for approval so Josh can finish the pages, depending on how in-depth the website is.

I love working with Dray Web Services because they give us instant results. We launched this one e-commerce platform that made us $100,000 in revenue. They anticipate issues and will contact me before the client even figures out that something is wrong.

The best feedback I usually get from clients is how Dray Web Services is able to capture the personality of the brand and uniquely incorporate it into the design of the website.

Dray Web Services is always ahead of deadlines and if they’re unable to meet them, they’ll let me know in advance — but that’s usually because the client wants to change the scope of the project, or want the team to research more plugins.

The project management tools we’ve utilized include Zapier, Klaviyo, HoneyBook, and Asana.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their responsiveness and their ability to speak the technical language that I can understand. I can basically give them any form of reference and they’ll incorporate it into design because they’re not afraid of being creatively challenged.

Our website was built six years ago, and we needed help in rebuilding and optimizing it to generate more leads and get more people to reach us through our site.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started the engagement by working on our strategies, conducting keyword research, and setting a budget for AdWords. We initially planned for Dray Web Services to work on two of our websites, but we decided to focus on Virtual Paralegal Pros’ website after we saw some really great results on our initial work.

Dray Web Services has made certain changes to our website, which include some wording changes and typographical corrections. Around this time, they’ve also started managing our AdWords and handling our site’s SEO. We relied on them to choose which words to optimize because knowing our business and having analyzed our site, he already knows what to do. We let him have a free hand at optimizing for us, and the results have been phenomenal.

They were not the cheapest, but there is literally nothing that they cannot do. When we have a request they are more timely than anyone else we've ever worked with and that is worth the price.

When we got our website they took the time to go with us through each page and make all the changes and updates we requested. We have retained them to maintain our sites and help us with edits.
