What was the scope of their involvement?

Disruptive works on our Google Ads.

We’d created a landing page. They’d offered to do it, but we wanted to go through it with another vendor. In the first stages, they started with a kick-off call to delineate their value proposition and how we could best collaborate on building the campaign in order to be successful. We gave them our customer avatar, and they gathered all the information.

After that, we had another meeting to discuss implementation. It was the Christmas break then, and they created the first campaigns within that period.

What is the team composition?

Initially, we had contact with a salesperson. We have a main point of contact, and he works on our campaign. He’s very responsive, smart, and great at what he does.

We also had someone helping us out a couple of days ago when we needed to set up the conversion tracking.

How did you come to work with Disruptive Advertising?

We were looking for an advertising company that could do Google Ads for us. We saw great reviews from them, but the real reason we chose to work with them was that they always retargeted us. Therefore, we knew that if they did a good job, they could do the same for our campaigns. Also, we thought they’d be able to take care of us and make sure everything was perfect.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve probably spent $2,600.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in December 2020, and the relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The first couple of months, we were just getting a lot of data, but we were very happy with their service. Then, we set up the conversion tracking, and we’re currently getting leads for about $5–$7, which is great for us to come on the webinar. Also, we’ve got 100% on our optimization score, so they’re doing their job pretty well.

As we get more data, we’ll be able to lower the cost per lead, but for now, it’s great that we’re seeing everything.

How did Disruptive Advertising perform from a project management standpoint?

I don’t know the exact tools they’ve used, but they’ve been able to build out the campaigns. Also, they come in every Wednesday to delineate what they’ve done and are quick to respond to our questions. From that perspective, I think they’re doing a good job on project management. To communicate, we prefer to use emails and calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their customer service is their strength. There are many places where you can’t reach somebody, they take forever to respond or seem apathetic, but Disruptive really tries to help you. They go the extra mile. In a sense, we’re paying to speak with somebody whenever we need to.

Also, they’re great at Google advertising. Anyone can do it, but they have many customers, so they have more data on what works and what doesn’t. It’s their bread and butter.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Go in with realistic expectations. A lot of people don’t get advertising, so you should also have some background knowledge, just so you can help them. Disruptive is there to augment what you’re currently doing. You don’t have to be a professional, but you should at least know the different avenues. Otherwise, you can waste a lot of money.

Our online leads grew 240% in the first year of the campaign. We were also able to increase the average session duration by 70%. Most important to us though was we were also able to get a lower cost per click by about 55%.

After that success, we also built out campaigns dedicated to service and parts. In our parts campaign disruptive also built out a unique landing page, which helped convert more leads.

The communication between myself and Disruptive was the best part about working with them. I work closely with Christine, and she is an absolute rock star. Christine is always bringing unique ideas on how to improve performance to my attention .
