What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The Google Ads campaign started in September and initially focused on campaign setup, data collection, and optimisation. As expected with paid search advertising, the early phase involved a learning and “warm-up” period to refine targeting, keywords, and ad performance.

By late November to early December, the campaign began delivering strong and measurable results, including:

A noticeable increase in inbound phone calls generated directly from Google Ads
A significant improvement in lead quality, with enquiries aligning closely with HUX Electrical’s core services
Increased consistency in enquiry volume compared to the initial campaign period
Higher intent leads, resulting in more genuine job opportunities rather than general or low-quality enquiries
These outcomes demonstrated that the campaign had successfully optimised over time and was effectively reaching the intended target audience. The increase in qualified leads contributed to improved business confidence, better forward planning, and a stronger return on marketing investment.

By January, we also began seeing returning customers who were originally generated through the campaign. These repeat clients have provided ongoing, high-quality work and have contributed to the development of strong, long-term customer relationships.

Overall, the project has been achieving  its objective of generating sustainable, high-quality leads and supporting business growth through targeted digital advertising, we hope with the new launch in early February we can keep getting these type of leads and also focus on seasonal work throughout the year targeting the correct audience.

During the early phase of the project, when results did not initially meet expectations, Digital Nomads were highly responsive to feedback. They proactively reviewed the strategy, made necessary adjustments, and went above and beyond to ensure the campaign aligned with our needs and business goals.

Their willingness to listen, adapt, and provide additional support demonstrated a genuine commitment to partnership, strong company culture, and a clear desire to achieve the best possible outcomes for HUX Electrical.

Charitable Reuse Australia engaged Digital Nomads HQ to develop a new online resource funded by the NSW EPA to measure and calculate the environmental, social and economic impacts of reuse in NSW based on the comprehensive datasets of the ground-breaking NSW Reuse Impact Study. The brief for NSW Reuse Impact Calculator was to make the user interface simple and easy, while managing complex outputs, delivered through two aliogned calculators - one for three high level category inputs and one for 27 more detailed item inputs, and over a dozen triple bottom line impact outputs, all defined clearly with a best practice usage guide.. We chose Digital Nomads due to the deep knowledge and expertise the team has in calculator projects, and the charitable reuse sector, as well as their proactive and engaging feedback, insights and communications.

Brilliant. The project was deliver on time, on budget and in full. I particularly loved the video updates that Mitch from Digital Nomads sent ot explain and highlight the development work throughout the various stages. This made it easy to share progress with all stakeholders. They had some great suggestions for improvement, so this was  acollaborative effort. They also went over and above scope with some addiitonal/late changes from our side, and took all of this in stride. It was also a non-stressful, enjoyable and learning experience.
