We were looking for someone to make our booking platform idea into a fully functioning app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DIGI INTERACTS helped us build and develop an Android and iOS mobile app through Angular. This app makes it easier for users to find and book a chef to invite to their homes.

We were mainly in contact with a project manager and several developers.

We invested around $8,000.

We worked together from January 2019–January 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since launching the app, we’ve received positive feedback from users, saying how easy it is to use and navigate through.

How did DIGI INTERACTS PVT LTD perform from a project management standpoint?

They performed well from a project management standpoint as they regularly updated and gave us feedback through Trello. Moreover, they were always proactive in resolving our issues and highly communicative when it came to timelines and updates.

We typically communicate through Skype and Upwork chat.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed with how they were able to provide us with maintenance support even after the product has been deployed.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise keeping yourself consistently updated on the project throughout the partnership to get the most out of your engagement with DIGI INTERACTS.

We encourage people to build healthy habits through daily reminders. We have built a website that is centered on building the fitness community and sharing ideas.

I'm the Founder of an online fitness support company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digi Interacts?

I had a lot of expectations at the beginning in terms of wanting a very interactive, feature robust website that people could use. All of my expectations were met. Now that I'm three plus years into being the founder of this company, I've learned a lot and gone through an incubation program.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The website that is up right now is amazing. The majority of the website was built by Digi Interacts. They've also worked on developing a mobile app for me.

How did you come to work with Digi Interacts?

I actually worked with Digi Interacts since early in 2014. I was working with another company who had subcontracted to Digi and I decided to cut out the middle man. The level of integrity, commitment, clarity, and honesty that came out of Digi was amazing, especially for a newcomer.

I didn't want to work any longer with the middle man when Digi really was everything I needed. I didn't know at the time what I was looking for but found out later that they’re what I needed. They've worked not only on our website but also a mobile app. The mobile app is not out on the market yet. It's probably 80% done.

How much have you invested with Digi Interacts?

I would say we're probably in the $20,000 to $50,000 range.

What is the status of this engagement?

Now I'm at the point where once I finish validation testing and go to the point of getting revenue for the idea, I will be revamping the website significantly. Digi Interacts will be central to that. The reason for that is my confidence and trust in, specifically Sumit Mahto, the leader of Digi Interacts.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

It's interesting because going through the incubator program, I didn't really feel like I had built a successful website. I didn't know at the time how to measure success. Looking at the analytics, I really have had to do very little on the website. There is still a lot of activity on it according to Google Analytics, which is surprising because I've taken a pivot. I think that speaks to the work on the website and the attractiveness of it. I threw out the ideas and Sumit guided me through them. He was definitely that sounding board, that devil's advocate I needed. He was very patient in the initial stages and the wireframe work. He's really taken an educational approach with me.

I feel like they're not only developing my website but really trying to help me understand the technical side of it. I think that is great of them. A lot of companies go in and try to hoard the knowledge and just give you tidbits for the sake of making the almighty dollar. Digi really appreciates the learning curve and growth of their clients. It makes the relationship richer and the trust deeper. The more I know, and it's smart on Sumit's side, the easier it is for him, not only to work with me but to get things done. I just feel like it's been a really cool, educational journey. I brag about Digi Interacts. I've had to do pitches about my company and I actually show them as an integral key to the team’s success.

What did you find most impressive about Digi Interacts?

They care.

Are there any areas Digi Interacts could improve?

That's a hard one because I just feel like I've grown so much due to them. They've grown with me. They try to make it so they can adapt to U.S. hours. They've been pretty flexible. If their client is based in the U.S., Sumit definitely is available U.S. hours, but sometimes he has to wait because his team is not. I'm not sure if Sumit's pivot is the U.S. or if he's going to stay within the European market which is more, of course, conducive to regular hours in India.

I've never really had a problem. It's been a rare occasion that I might have had to wait for their team. If there's ever been a fire drill, I don't wait. They don't have me wait. Sumit will do whatever he can. They'll do what they can. I'm the kind of girl that doesn't want to always put somebody out. They never make me feel like that. I know that Sumit, when he doesn't have somebody available, he's scrambling. He gets it done. He does it, but I would say that adapting the team more to U.S. hours would be good if their goal is to pursue U.S. hours.
