Homechow is a smart kiosk food network that places self-service terminals at high-traffic venues, giving consumers instant access to chef-prepared, restaurant-quality meals with no wait and no delivery fee, either directly at our kiosks or through our apps. We partner with local and national food co-packers to supply fresh, ready-to-eat meals, everything from hot entrées to cold-pressed drinks, stocked and managed through our proprietary software. Food brands gain a distribution channel without opening a new physical location.

The scope of work involved the end-to-end architecture, design, and development of a connected smart food vending platform consisting of multiple applications and operational systems. The engagement included development of customer-facing mobile applications, partner and vendor mobile interfaces, web-based admin dashboards, public-facing web experiences, and machine communication layers required to support smart kiosk operations.

Core platform capabilities included real-time order orchestration, machine-level workflow automation, inventory and operations tracking, integrated payment processing, location-based kiosk discovery, and centralized operational visibility across vending locations. The project also involved backend system architecture, API development, database design, hardware and machine integrations, role-based access management, deployment workflows, testing, and ongoing scalability support as the platform expanded operationally.

They have successfully unified hardware operations and customer workflows into a single connected platform. Enabled real-time monitoring and operational visibility across multiple vending locations. Improved order handling and machine-level operational efficiency through workflow automation. Supported the launch and scaling of smart food vending operations across multiple locations in the United States.

The development team demonstrated strong project management throughout the engagement. Deliverables are completed on time, communication was consistent, and they responded quickly and professionally to evolving operational needs. They were proactive in solving challenges, flexible with adjustments, and maintained a high level of collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

No major areas for improvement stood out during the engagement. The team performed well overall. The main focus going forward would simply be to continue maintaining timelines and consistently delivering at the high standard they have already demonstrated.

Design and Develop the company website from scratch - SEO Optimised content to be added in the site so that it ranks better at Google Search - Build a better Lead-Gen Form and streamline the funnel to convert leads in a better way. So I opted for sending automated sending personalised mails to leads as well as the company email along with adding those leads into a Google Sheet which she can track easily and convert the leads faster. - Setup Appointment booking for leads to improve conversion rates - Setup Google Analytics to track traffic and leads from different regions which would help optimise the company's marketing campaigns.

The project was managed very well from Day One. The founder himself was involved in it to manage it from the top and guiding the developers and other teammates to get it done in an efficient way. They delivered before the date they told me while we signed up for the project actually. They responded to my needs proactively and at times they already knew what I would come up with next.

What impressed us most about DevOrbital was their ability to quickly understand our business context and translate it into practical, well-thought-out solutions. There weren’t any major areas for improvement. As with any new collaboration, alignment improved over time, and DevOrbital was very receptive to feedback and quick to adapt.
