What stood out most about DevBrother was their rare mix of deep Web3 expertise and real product thinking. They didn’t just build features — they tied every technical decision to business goals like retention, ARPDAU, and time-to-market.

Their ability to bring in the right engineers fast was also impressive. New team members were contributing within days, not weeks. Communication was always clear and proactive — problems were flagged early, with solid options and rollback plans.

On top of that, delivery was smooth and predictable. Sprints were well run, release notes were sharp, and infrastructure costs stayed under control. For a Web3 project where performance and security matter, they nailed it.

One thing we learned along the way is that the more business context you share upfront, the smoother things go. DevBrother works best when they have full visibility and some autonomy — in a few cases, earlier alignment on goals could’ve helped avoid back-and-forth.

But overall, no real complaints — once context was in place, their team moved fast and delivered with ownership.

In general, the DevBrother developers integrated well with our team - we followed an agile project methodology and they aligned well with our delivery schedule and sprints. The project ended successfully and we delivered all the features.

We followed an Agile Scrum process through the project, between teams we used slack to stay in tight communication.

DevBrother was professional and focused throughout the project. They provided good and regular communications so that we knew in every sprint what they were working on and what the delivery timescales where

They could have been better at the analysis of the overall solution at the start of the project delivery, but at the end of the project that didn't make a great deal of difference to the result, so this is a minor issue given that the overall delivery was outstanding

Since starting working with DevBrothers its been really easy to obtain the right vision of our product and make all systems work in sync. DevBrothers have a great stack of engineers able to scale quickly according to your needs. They've been very responsible and easy to communicate with. Hitting all the deadlines we projected and fixing all ad-hoc issues.

The guys worked around our schedule and timezones. They've easily adopted our project management tools Jira, Slack and Asana. We had weekly sprints and couple standups during the week. DevBrother team gave us timely updates on deliverables

The most impressive about these guys was their eagerness to work on our product as their own. They were very easy to communicate with and provided extra resources when needed. Most helpful was that they cared about our product and goals as if it were their own.

Not much. I would say to communicate your needs. DevBrother team listened to all our suggestions and improved the process based on our needs. Overall I appreciate the individual approach to each situation we were facing during production. The team is really great and easy to work with.

We're a complete ticketing and registration platform for concerts, fairs, festivals, performing art centres, fundraising, sports, education, etc.

We have a strong in-house development team that does all the work for our core services. Due to the backlog of critical core functionality updates we were working on, we needed help to update and rebuild some of the collateral aspects of our site.

This included our sales section, support knowledge base, and transfer & integration of our HubSpot blog. We received a really strong recommendation from a few client's we've worked with for years whom we trust and respect very much. They insisted we try them out and we are glad we did.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

There were 3 main deciding factors:

1. Ability to do the work
2. Cost and timeline to completion
3. Reputation for doing quality work DevBrothers checked off all 3 boxes.

There were 3 separate sections that needed rebuilding. The sales section needed a complete redesign to match our new front-end website.

It also needed a UX rebuild as well as all new content showcasing our latest functionality. The support knowledge base needed to also be updated to our new design theme as well as implement a whole new modern way for us to manage the creation and updating of KB articles for our clients.

The blog was far more complex. We use HubSpot for our blog. The problem with Hubspot is they only support sub-domains. For SEO purposes, we wanted to move our blog to a sub-folder. Unfortunately, Hubspot doesn't support this natively.

I was assured by DevBrothers that they could figure it out and they came through. They ended up creating a custom-built API integration with Hubspot to fetch our new content from our blog and inject it into a new blog CMS within a sub-folder on our main domain.

So not only did they redesign it, unify the theme with the rest of our site properties, but they also made it work seamlessly with our existing HubSpot blog as a sub-folder. We were impressed by this.

Yuri was our primary point of contact and he facilitated all of the big-picture things to make sure everyone was on track. Over the months, we worked directly with several from his team including Vadim, Vlad, Misha, and I think a few others.

Off the top of my head I'm not sure exactly what each person did but each one was professional, knowledgeable, had great communication and were always fast to respond and implement updates.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are just about to launch our new front-end main site along with the new collateral sites that were built by DevBrothers. We haven't launched yet so we do not have specific measurable outcomes but the impact we expect on our SEO and SERP ranking is expected to be significant.

They were really flexible here. They had their own system for project management but since our team uses Asana internally, they were gracious enough to setup their own Asana accounts, learn how to use it, and work within our project management ecosystem.

This made it way easier for our internal team to coordinate with DevBrothers and helped make the project simple to management and complete.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The focus on satisfying the client. We are in a very niche market and some of the challenges we face are not common in other industries.

As a result, some things that we needed to do were probably a bit strange for them. However, they never questioned why we were doing something (unless it was suggestions on UI or UX improvements). They always focused on getting the job done, whatever it took, without hassle.

We've worked with other outside dev companies for projects and sometimes they end up fighting us on why we are doing it one way instead of another. DevBros didn't waste time on that and made sure they produced the results we wanted. It made the experience such a pleasure. It's hard enough to get internal agreement on how and why to do things.

Once we finally decided, to have the dev team push back is frustrating. I'm sure this sounds like an odd thing to complement them on, but it turned out to be a huge asset. Basically, get it done.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Yes actually, but this is sort of our fault. We lacked detailed reporting on billable hours. However, this is mainly because we were using Asana which doesn't really have a good management system for that.

They are great for internal projects but not outside 3rd party dev work. DevBros always provided breakdowns when asked but moving forward, we will be using Jira for project management. Which, go figure, was their original suggestion before we asked to use Asana. So this was a general issue we experienced but really it was our fault.

In terms of improvement, I suggest DevBros to make this limitation known prior to agreeing to use another project management system. Had we fully understood this, we would have used Jira from the start. We do not put blame on them for this though but it is something that could have been improved.
