Dazze Studio has developed two websites for us. The first was a presentational website, and the second was a fully functional hire and e-commerce platform built from scratch. The team has created a full WooCommerce product catalog architecture with variable products, attributes, color variations, and category taxonomy. Dazze Studio has also built a custom request a quote workflow, replacing the third-party tool, including branded email notifications, guest and registered account quote tracking, and admin routing.Moreover, the team has created customer account pages integrated with the quote system. Dazze Studio has redesigned a megamenu navigation across desktop, tablet, and mobile with a structured category hierarchy. The team has also built category and subcategory filter logic with multi-select capability and pagination. Dazze Studio has made mobile browsing improvements, including product grid layout and image display.Lastly, the team has set up our email infrastructure, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration, achieving a 10/10 deliverability score.

We think overall Jaime and Dazze Studio in general are great to work with and if we had to provide some sort of feedback that could benefit them it would be to input one or 2 of the clients actual products as it would quickly provide what works and doesnt work properly. But overall i wouldnt change anything!

I had a pretty good website, but "landscape" orientation and portraiture required adjusting the date of publication in order to fit the images into different sized containers. Also, the theme permitted users to bypass the layout and view the images directly using the arrow keys. Moreover, Jamie caused me to discover the images were not uniform in size, causing the theme to expand images and lowering their quality. He also broke the homepage into several, causing the pages to load nearly instantly. He also, like a graphic artist, listened to my concerns, which I didn't always articulate well, yet understood them perfectly. You often need to be a mind reader in his line of work.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

All my needs weren't just met, they were exceeded, and at a fair price. Based in the UK didn't matter, as they communicated with me daily, clarifying my needs and providing suggestions. They provided a quote prior to any work being done, and kept to that quote. As promised, the website is absolutely stunning, responsive and secure.

As mentioned earlier, Dazze responded to my initial inquiry within a couple of hours. They communicated with me daily. Never once did they say, "We can't do that." What my rep told me is that "99.9% of anything is possible, I just need to understand what you're trying to accomplish." And they backed it up.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I reached out to five providers who were listed on the UNCODE support forum. Two responded they'd get back to me. Dazze responded within maybe two hours, and immediately was ready to help, asked for specifics and responded with a quote within hours. That sealed the deal for me. The confidence exhibited by Dazze in my initial reply was easy to see. I believe they can truly do anything. I have music websites that I'll be revamping, and I've found the people to do them for me.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Dazze Studio could have done differently?

I am completely satisfied, and cannot think of even one instance where I felt that the company didn't understand what I was talking about. In a time when "customer service" seems to be dead, it's certaing NOT the case here. I'm excited to now revamp some of the content on my site.

Delivery was incredibly efficient, and they always found a way to deliver what I needed, even if I didn't set it out in the initial brief. Response time was incredibly quick and fully surpassed my expectations. 

Jamie was always available to help me with anything I needed. As I am someone who has never worked in web development or had any experience in it, it was incredibly helpful to have. I was quite meticulous with how I wanted the design of the website to be, and Dazze worked around my needs completely and delivered a website I'm incredibly proud of.

After launching new website, the web queries has increased and also as we integrated messaging system as well, we are also getting people contacting us through Whats'sApp.

The project management and communications where none to second, they've replied to me less than a few hours and if there was concern, that would been resolved in less than 24 hours.

Listening to the customer feedbacks, rapid implementation of any changes, promptly respond and most the all very friendly, and I felt that I am doing business with friend rather than just someone through emails.

Quadrangle is an independent research and strategy business which helps clients create, use, and communicate insight to drive and inspire change. I am Director of Creative Services, Sales and Marketing.

For what projects/services did your company hire Dazze Studio?

We were looking to refresh, relaunch and reinvigorate our online presence and build a website that would stand out in a busy marketplace. We wanted our site to be concise, beautifully crafted and with a wink towards 'Quadrangle wit'... … something you wouldn't expect from a professional services firm.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We approached six design agencies with our initial thinking on content, design and structure and asked for their thoughts on how they could help us with our challenge. Dazze Studio got back to us quickly with questions on Notion and were positive about what we were trying to do. We liked their aim to 'break away from the eCommerce sameness by building original online experiences'. This resonated. They were also able to meet our timings and work within budget.

Dazze Studio proposed a stage-by-stage process from Discovery, Sitemap, Creative Direction and Photography to Website Design and Development. Before starting the project, we agreed preferred comms channels and Dazze reviewed our existing site using Google Analytics. Design work was prepared and shared in Figma and we had regular video calls to discuss and give feedback. A staging site was set up before launch so UX and content could be signed off.

Two in total. Our main point of contact was Jamie, Dazze Studio Founder and Creative Director. We also met photographer Andy.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our new site launch on 29 September so it's a little early to share any meaningful statistics on performance. It launched on time and on budget, however, which were both important project objectives. The initial response among staff and clients has been very positive.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Jamie was responsive throughout the project and managed processes, billing and communications in a proactive and practical manner. He was clear about what he needed from us, and by when, to keep everything on schedule.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Quadrangle.com has been through major redesigns twice in the past 10 years. In Dazze Studio, they helped make the process more straightforward and hassle-free than ever. We were most impressed by their pragmatism. While other agencies may aim to be more experimental and conspicuously creative Dazze offers a workable, businesslike approach which delivers the goods.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Design projects run smoothest when all the important decisions regarding form and function are made by one person. In our case, there were more views and opinions involved than ideal, and this led to some differences. However, I don't think this compromised the end result in any way.

We required responsive designs and functionality requirements for a variety of custom developments to our Marketplace plug-in. Dazze produced these designs for Desktop, Tablet and Mobile devices using Figma with detailed technical documentation. This helped us reach our goal to deliver a bespoke version of our plug-in.

This is basically a combined Project executed by both Dazze Ltd and The Grey Parrots. Dazze created the mockups for Desktop, Tablet and Mobile devices and detailed scope of work was prepared by Jamie. The detailed scope of work he prepared covered all minute customization request hence no expectation mismatch till date. This has really helped us worked together seamlessly for the last 1 year and client is very happy with the execution.

Project is going very well and absolutely on track till date. Although it required an advanced level of customization and a high budget Project, the way Jamie presented all the designs and detailed scope, it's almost like a cake walk now.

Must say their communication is the key factor for the success of this project. We maintain JIRA to track all custom request. For communication, Jamie is always available via Slack. We communicate on daily basis so that both the teams are on same page.
