The Software designed is a cloud-based survey platform that enables us to conduct professional surveys, specifically producing property valuation and analysis reports, and to generate a Professional Negotiation Certificate (PNC) Report under our own brand.

The results of the project exceeded my expectations. We have managed to achieve revenue generating functionality in a short space of time securing a client contract whilst we continue with development.

To have a working real-time vacant room finder that interacts directly with each providers room status via weekly room notification updates. A sytem was needed that can apply filtering for each providers services giving the care seeker an advanced search tool.

To produce the only app in the UK that searches for numerous providers in the care industry with availability.

Successfully created a unique care home directory working in real-time. 

Some of the tasks that the platform were to perform created a significant amount of labour to produce a working model- a complex website/app to build that allows it's user to filter their searches simply!

1. Following our initial approach, CMC provided a preliminary quotation for the design, building and hosting of a new website for the charity. 
2. To discuss and update EHERCC on latest software systems for website design and provided examples of the different templates. This involved a detailed review of our previous site, detailed discussion of what we were seeking to achieve from the new website, and an excellent open and constructive explanation of all alternatives. Once completed CMC provided an updated and detailed cost estimate. This was broken down into multiple components so that we could analyse and manage costs and payment schedules. 
3. Having selected the design and accepted their quote, the main job of proving all input materials and designing and finalising all content took place. CMC use an excellent multi-party living document feedback system allowing real time review and commentary, with continuous to-do lists for all parties. This worked extremely well, with CMC accommodating our changes as we progressed. We also received excellent advice from the CMC team on any issues of content, layout and visual impact. CMC were also very clear concerning what could be done and any additional costs that would be incurred. 
4. In the later stages, we changed our original decision and decided to go ahead with adding a Blog and Library section with automated page turning. CMC did all of this seamlessly with excellent results. 
5. CMC were able to manage the addition of other services such as JustGiving fundraising, Mailchimp email and newsletter subscription, Google My Business and Analytics, and website optimisation/SEO. 
6. CMC are providing ongoing hosting of the website and site maintenance and operations. All of the above were provided on time, at costs, and with enthusiasm and support. We could not be more delighted with the product we have. Fantastic job.

We had real time progress monitoring through CMC's feedback documentation, real time review of the actual new website through a review link to the site prior to going live, and went live with the new website on schedule

My contact was with Alka Bagga. She interfaced with the CMC team. This worked seamlessly with a fast response to all issues. Working with overseas locations also allowed a lot of progress in different time zones making the delivery process super efficient as far as I was concerned. All our requests were positively received with 90% actioned and delivered. 
Those that were not were due to the idea being technically unavailable or too costly for us to adopt. CMC were aware of our focus on costs as a charity and were therefore always prompt in pointing out costs implications of new ideas, and ensuring we wanted to progress with them. This was super helpful.

The website is relatively large with many links. We needed to have a new platform built that would increase traffic towards our website. We needed someone who would understand our product and our vibe in order to maintain and develop our outward facing presence. We were looking for a sense of care along with professionalism and knowledge. The website needed many more keywords than had been identified by our previous designer, this process was worked on smoothly. 
The new sections with testimonials and blog posts demanded input from us. These sections work particularly well and offer a way of continually updating content. We needed a customised booking system, we now have something that works well for the business. We needed to spotlight osteopathy as a core therapy that we offer, this was achieved and helped by shifting to the Wordpress platform.

Enhanced website with SEO features and functionality. Needed SEO functionality in order to be found on the search engines. We now have a user-friendly and responsive website that's connected to a booking system.

Critical Mission Computing spent valuable time with us in person at the project's frontend to ascertain what we wanted and needed for our new website. The site map was drawn up and fully discussed with amendments until we were satisfied — every alteration that we requested was met with support, the workflow was clear, and we felt truly involved throughout.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO and Founder of a company called Pixoomer.com. We are an online photo diary.

For what projects/services did your company hire Critical Mission Computing Ltd, and what were your goals?

I wanted to develop a mobile app for potential new customers to access new features from their phones. I noticed that there was no significant increase over 2 years to the website, I wanted to increase our traffic and visibility through a mobile app.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After searching and interviewing half a dozed app developers, CMC were the last company I interviewed but they came recommended to me by my business coach.

We had a number of initial meetings to discuss my goals and objectives. The main objective was to understand this unique idea and had to be delivered on both platforms IOS and Android. After the initial meeting within 2 weeks I received wireframes, according to every detail I had provided. I was advised to use react native as a platform for both and was impressed that it could be delivered within budget.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I was liaising and working with the Director of CMC Alka most of the time, and often engaged with 2-3 developers and a designer as and when required.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I have just recently launched the app and seeing daily downloads, I am seeing more traffic being driven to the website.

Initially we had all meetings via Zoom which then ended up being phone calls followed up by emails. Everything was delivered on time and I received ample warning if a deadline was not going to be met.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their mobile app development skills blew me away. They knew everything about UX and execution. This was my first mobile app, but they went the extra mile to help me understand the process and technologies.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Currently I have no improvements to add.
