I’m the CEO of a law firm in Toronto, Canada.

We needed help with digital marketing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

When our engagement first started 15 years ago, Core Solutions Services developed our website from scratch using WordPress and PHP. Over time, I became more involved in the website development and began delegating tasks to Core Solutions Services' team. 

Their team now provides us with off-page SEO. I provide all the keywords that I develop based on my research. Core Solutions Services also arranges our PPC on Google and Facebook. Sometimes, if I have time, I'll build the campaigns instead of relaying them to Core Solutions Services. At this point, I handle anything on the website, and their team handles anything off the website. 

What is the team composition?

I coordinate directly with one teammate from Core Solutions Services.

How did you come to work with Core Solutions Services?

Someone referred me to Core Solutions Services for web development services. 

How much have you invested with them?

We invest a few thousand dollars into each project we complete on a quarterly basis. Overall, I estimate we've invested around $135,000 CAD (approximately $105,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement with Core Solutions Services began in 2007. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Core Solutions Services provides good services and works well in our team-oriented partnership. I don't have any specific metrics, but we do set targets when working on page building and optimization. Each project has a different impact on our business. 

How did Core Solutions Services perform from a project management standpoint?

We set out projects every quarter, and the deadlines are generally pretty flexible. Sometimes there are delays, but I never have any issues with them. I don't pay any extra for delays. We don't use project management tools and typically communicate over the phone. I'm in contact with them every 2–3 days to request updates.

What did you find most impressive about them?

My business was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, but Core Solutions Services continued to work for me even though I was unable to pay them at the time. We've built up a good relationship over the years — we're comfortable together. Core Solutions Services understands my nature and priorities. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing for them to change. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd advise customers to stay in regular contact with Core Solutions Services' project manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The delivery of project was efficient and timely manner where the team was fully cooperative and provide up to date technological advice on our real service . I am quite satisfied with the out come and still engaged with their expertise.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Quite prompt and up to date while we have 4 hours difference in time zone but still they were their when ever we wanted them . Deadlines were always met with out delay .

We hired Core Solutions for a brand new e-commerce website.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

From Google search and deciding factor was their previous work portfolio and very reasonable quote.

It was a modern website we were after. Included 15 to 20 pages, online appointments integration, contents writing, SEO optimisation etc.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Our main contact was project manager. They have staff todo the various tasks. However our all instructions handled by manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were extremely satisfied with end product. We got 100% what we were after. Many of our clients did praise the look and functions available on our website.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

All done within the agreed time frame. They were very responsive and efficient to execute any request. Communication was pretty easy, reached via WhatsApp, zoom and by phone.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing was that they delivered what they promised and delivered within the time frame.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is always a room for improvement but for us it was quite satisfactory.
