Our website went live, and my friends and family said they loved it. They said it looked highly professional and that it was easy to navigate.

Core’s project management was great. They were prompt and communicative, and they didn’t exceed our budget. To communicate, we used emails.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were better than other providers. Unlike Core, other teams weren’t specific on how long it would take for them to finish the website. They also weren’t sure whether they could customize the site the way we wanted. On top of that, those teams’ pricing was way higher than Core's. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing! The team at Core Media was a pleasure to work with. I will be recommending them to my family and friends and we will be using their services in the future.

Stay on top of your emails, and reply promptly to any questions that Core has. That way, you can ensure you receive the best and fastest service possible.

Our website was designed by a big, national company that is marketed as tailored to healthcare and small businesses such as small medical practices. I was not satisfied with their results and found them to be lacking. Then, I found Core Media - they have been invaluable to transitioning away from the other company, developing a good and aesthetically pleasing website, and increasing SEO for my practice. We searched for a website developer and price compared different companies as well as spent a lot of time on the phone testing out their customer service. Will and his team at Core Media won because their customer service is OUTSTANDING and they work just as hard as we do for the good of the business/practice. It is hard to find passionate teammates right now and to find them in a remote team is even more valuable!

We had several lengthy phone calls to discuss goals and pain points. From there, Core Media developed a beautiful and functional website, educated me on SEO, delivered on promises, and stayed in touch constantly with pertinent updates.

Owner and project manager worked with me directly and closely. His team follows up and helps day to day with our ongoing projects.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching our site, we no longer had the pain points from our previous company including, poor customer service, poor response time, no return on investment. We are getting calls that come directly to our office and we are able to track along with Core Media and the projects they are doing for us.

We used emails mostly to communicate. They list out the project and actionable items and once items are done, updates are given and initialed by person who completes the task. Very organized and clear in communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They provide excellent customer service and tailored projects in an age of cookie cutter website providers. The owner is deeply involved in the day to day operations and values the personable aspect of projects; he took the time to connect with me, the client. Their turn around time on projects was also very impressive!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing I can think of right now, but I'm sure if there were an issue, everyone on the Core Media team would be quick to resolve it. I highly recommend this company!

We went with core media to first do our logo redesign. We were very impressed with how many revisions they did, they also took it upon themselves to do many of the revisions on their own because they felt they had not really captured what we were looking for. This gave us a sense of security because we knew we had found a company that was working in our best interest. Next we moved onto web development. Core Media has been prompt and effective in capturing the online look we were going for. We had no idea what we wanted our site to look like and they gave us something we couldn't have thought up better ourselves.

Will Manuel, the President of Core Media Concepts, has been there every step of the way with me personally. Working with him is an absolute pleasure, he is easy to communicate with via email, phone, zoom and more.

Within 6 weeks we have completely been able to re brand our company beyond comprehension.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They were able to communicate with us everyday, if not almost every day, via email. We did almost nothing, but they were very good in keeping us in the loop. Will has probably been the easiest person that I have ever worked with.

My main point of contact is the project manager but the company president was always in the loop and assisted when needed. There are a team of app developers and web developers we worked with along with the project manager to get each project completed.

Project timelines always stayed on track and completed on time. If we still had a good amount of work to be done before a deadline the team put in the extra effort to ensure it was done on time.

We used email threads, shared drives, and shared documents to make sure everyone was always in the loop and everyone had what they needed to complete each task.

We searched for a mobile app development company for a while and couldn't find the right company who understood our vision. After our first conversation and receiving an initial proposal from Core we knew that were aligned. Once the scope fit within our initial budget we decided to move forward.

After defining the scope, we quickly received the initial designs of the app. They were really good designs to start with but they implemented our feedback well and we were very happy with the final result. They quickly moved into development for both android and IOS simultaneously. They overcame each challenge and kept the project in scope. The submission process was seamless and they helped us work through the challenges that arose.

We had a project manager who made sure the project went according to plan and kept the resources on point. We did work with the developer and designer as well to ensure all feedback was implemented.

Our app is currently live on android and we are working to pass the submission process on IOS.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

It's only been 1 day with the new site going live, but already I personally notice how much more user friendly my site is. The theme is open and welcoming, and the increase in web speed is noticeable. I have already had an email inquiry from a prospective patient through email, which is something that was not common before.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

It was arranged through various lines of communicating including email, text, video, and phone call. Very very convenient, and responsive with all of my questions. They updated me during the entire process.

Their willingness to really help. They want to see me succeed. They really do care about their clients, and they are genuine and honest.

For my experience, 100 percent no areas for improvement. They went above and beyond.

Dyranomics, Inc. is a startup nonprofit that is bringing to market a low cost hearing device for canines. We have partnered with The FETCHLAB at the University of Cincinnati to accomplish this. Our mission is to raise $500,000 such that any household will be able to afford the hearing device for their dog.

For what projects/services did your company hire Core Mobile App Development?

I was referred to Core Mobile by the law firm who created my 501c3. They specialize in nonprofits and I didn't want to use just anyone for my website. They came highly recommended and based upon my first meeting with Michael and Will, I knew I had found my team.

What were your goals for this project?

I'm not very knowledgeable in the area of marketing, but both Michael and Will led me though the process. Their being patient with me is an understatement, but because they had so much experience in the nonprofit arena, they made every step simple for me. They were able to translate into what I said I wanted to what I truly needed because of their expertise in this area.

There are plenty of web developers out there to choose from, and I interviewed several. Because I am funding this nonprofit out of pocket, and due to my lack of experience in web development, I found that if I asked too many questions of a web developer, they would stop talking with me. Frustrating! I approached my nonprofit attorney because I wanted a reputable developer familiar with nonprofits and they referred me to Michael and Will. They were super patient with my questions and guided me through the process with a lot of patience. Almost immediately I was convinced I had engaged the correct team to help me.

The resulting website was way beyond my expectations. Sometimes I open it up and just stare at it because I love it so much! I've received huge accolades from all I have asked to review. I am so pleased with the results that I have engaged them for a second website project related to the nonprofit. I believe a website should be not just beautiful, but it should also be a good marketing tool. Core Mobile has accomplished both for Dyranomics. Michael and Will handle different aspects of the project and the entire process from beginning to end was very smooth. If you check out the other sites they have developed you will see consistency in the clarity of the websites. They delivered exactly what I wanted.

Their responsiveness to my questions were quick, and when I wanted small changes they responded quickly and without admonishment for asking for a change. They totally get it that if I'm happy then everyone is happy!

I’m the founder and CEO of iFean Health. We’re a health tech company. We use technology to drive health solutions in a couple of therapeutic areas that have been historically ignored. 

Over the last couple of years, we’ve developed expertise in rehabilitation, orthotics, and prosthetics. We provide hands and legs to individuals who’ve lost their limbs. 

Another area of focus for us is providing pharmaceuticals for women and children, and wound healing focused on low-impact tissue regeneration.

We’re a startup, and we were trying to scale up and reach the right audiences. In order to build my brand, I wanted a company that could effectively capture the essence of who we are and what we’re trying to build.

Core Mobile Apps produced a couple of things, starting with the website. I had a website before, but it was a mess. They were able to build a website that was solid, and they came up with several cool brand identifiers in the process. They tied brand identifiers and concepts together to fit the needs of my target audience.

What is the team composition?

I don’t know everyone who worked on the project. My main points of contact were Michael (Senior Product Manager) and the two co-founders. I know that they also had graphic designers and web developers involved.

How did you come to work with Core Mobile App Development?

I found them through a friend of a friend, and I checked out the work they’d done. I had a web designer at the time, but I wanted someone who could teach me what I didn’t know and provide a new perspective. 

The proposal Core Mobile Apps sent me was elegantly done, clean, and sophisticated. Their ability to sell themselves convinced me that I could go to them to sell my business.

How much have you invested with them?

The main project cost $2,500–$3,500. We also ran some small projects over the years. They set up emails for us, host our website, and run campaigns. These were all within $2,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The main project with Core Mobile Apps took place between October–December 2017. However, they’re still helping me set up new email addresses when we get a new staff member. They also assist us with Google Analytics.

People love our website. It gives us a sense of legitimacy and trustworthiness, which is important as a startup. I’ve seen an increase in site visitors as well.

I usually communicated with them through email, and occasionally, over the phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their responsiveness is most impressive to me. I used to travel quite a bit, across different time zones. I’d reach out to Core Mobile App at night time in Dubai, and they responded by the time I woke up in the morning. I’m currently in Nigeria now, with a significant time zone difference, and they always respond when I reach out to them. 

Additionally, they have a startup model, and they want to grow with us. Their price point was very reasonable. They could’ve charged us more, but they understood the challenges we were facing, and they were accommodating. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s always room for improvement. Off the top of my head, I can’t think of anything. I’ve been satisfied with their work. Compared to the work I’ve done with previous providers, it’s like night and day.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I’d recommend to my friends that they work with Core Mobile Apps, but I’d also tell them to make sure they have their content ready. For every developer, the speed of the deliverables depends on having the content ready. 

I didn’t have my content ready when I started working with them. They had to help me buy images from Flickr and other stock image sites. I was a bit delayed because we had to go through images, define a narrative, and so forth before they started their work.
