We brought in Core Mobile to update our foundation’s existing stroke awareness app. We wanted to improve its functionality and add a few advanced features.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Core Mobile renovated our existing platform to match current iOS and Android mobile compatibility requirements and added multiple new tools. They used data generated from a medical accreditation agency to establish a working geo-location function for our map of nearby stroke centers. The team programmed our emergency contact feature, which permits in-app 911 calls and then notifies three predetermined contacts. Core Mobile added a feedback tool that allows a user to directly contact us with any platform issues.

Their team quickly made any necessary bug fixes after the app launched. They are currently working on improving user experience for older generations by developing a clean interface with explicit directions to simplify in-app interactions.
