Consensus worked with us for two major re-launches, one on B2B and another on B2C side, and continue to be our "go-to" partner for other dev needs. They helped launch two significantly upgraded, redesigned, re-instrumented and effective websites, and the KPIs bear that out. They are agile, flexible, experienced, experts at what they do and never steered us wrong. Cannot recommend them enough. A++++

They were always on time, flexible, and on budget. Fully transparent, this is a team with no surprises and plenty of expertise and connections.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Flexibility, expertise, transparency, and overall ability. There are no substandard players there, all tasks are in solid hands and the work gets done right the first time in most cases. No passing the buck to lower-level staff once a deal is signed, you get exactly the team you expect and their multifaceted approaches are an excellent combination of open-mindedness with an execution-oriented mindset.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Consensus Interactive could have done differently?

None, A++++ and we have remained partners for other ongoing work!

I am the vice president of the board of Joanna’s Place, a non-profit organization.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Consensus Interactive?

The organization’s website was over five years old, so we needed to update it to be more responsive. We wanted a modernized overall design and a new content management system. The old system was written in coded HTML, and we wanted to add text or content more simply.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They build a WordPress site from the ground up, based on a custom theme they use. They offered two or three design concepts, and we chose the one we liked the best and fleshed it out as the basis for the overall site.

The new site looks dramatically different to our previous one. It is responsive and integrates with MailChimp for our newsletter signup and with Salesforce for our contact form. It accepts donation through a PayPal integration, and we can add featured quotes, stories, or videos throughout the site.

What is the team composition?

We had one point of contact who acts as the project manager and account lead. She has a team who assists with creative, copy, and the technical aspects.

How did you come to work with Consensus Interactive?

I worked with them through my advertising work with another agency and was really happy with the work they provided. We sent a bid out to them and to three other vendors. They presented their approach, which we liked, and we decided to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We were really lucky with this arrangement. Each year, they chose one nonprofit to work with. We submitted our RFP to them right when they were searching for this year’s organization to assist. Since the timing worked out so well, they worked within our $20,000 budget and gave us a level of service and technical implementations that should have cost much more.

What is the status of this engagement?

The RFP went out around April or May 2018, and we launched the site in September 2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since the site just launched a few months ago, we haven’t gone back to look over any of the metrics yet. We know the content and information is flowing correctly through the various forms, and it’s so much easier with new contact information moving directly into the correct databases. It already saves us a considerable amount of time.

How did Consensus Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?

I’ve worked with them before, and adore their team. They were so responsive and followed up on everything. Our entire board enjoyed working with them, and they provided regular updates throughout the process.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a wider breadth of knowledge than other agencies we’ve worked with, and the technical depth of their team is tremendous. They have the experience of a large agency, but offer the personalized service and commitment of a small firm.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. This was a great project for us, and it went really smoothly. We were happy with the final product, and they were always responsive and accommodating.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Trust them; they won’t let you down. The experience they offer is much better than any other agency I’ve encountered.
