Following a discovery session, we reviewed Complete Web's portfolio and chose an existing website to model ours off of. They delivered a draft design template which we tweaked and modified over the weeks as we worked with our Chief Marketing Officer on the content. Once we were all satisfied with the finished product, they took the website live and provided helpful instructions afterward as questions arose.

We love the finished product of our website in a day and age where an internet presence is expected.

Our website is on WordPress platform - which we can use for basic content changes without needing Complete Web's assistance. For this project, we knew there were changes that needed to be made that we couldn't do ourselves. We sent Jason at Complete Web an e-mail and the next day we received a project summary with a quotation for the work.

The project was completed early and within budget. There were several suggestions that Complete Web made that we hadn't considered; thankfully we took the suggestion!

We've had phone and Zoom meetings in the past with Complete Web but all communication on this project required was e-mail correspondence only.

Complete Web is very low pressure and easy to work with (yet professional). The costs seem very fair/reasonable for the work. We receive quick and clear responses to e-mail.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No suggestions for improvement. In the past, communication had been slower with Complete Web but for this project we received responses within 24 hours on all requests.

To create a custom built website that looked great, loaded quickly on mobile and desktop applications, was stable and intuitive to use. Challenge was doing so quickly and at a competitive price point.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I chose Complete Web Development because their price was competitive, timing was reasonable, reference web sites they built looked and worked great and ultimately - the owner, Jason, gave me the impression they would do a great job.

We had a kickoff meeting to review goals and design themes and content docs were provided to Complete Web Design. Shortly thereafter, we were provided with a draft design template, which we refined with Complete Web Design through the course of several iterations. Next - we reviewed an initial website that was built using info from the previous steps.

Complete Web Design did a great job educating us on how to update the website ourselves (something we asked in the initial scope of work), which allowed us to finish the website particulars directly, which was way more efficient for all parties. Complete Web Design took care of the more challenging changes we wanted after seeing the draft site. We quickly reached a final product and website was launched. Very happy with the results.

2. Andrew was the graphic design artist that drafted the design and layout. Jason is the owner that we worked with though all the project stages.

Complete Web Design did an outstanding job creating a website from scratch for me. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Its stable, loads easily, is optimized for both mobile and desktop applications and looks great! Pricing was competitive and the project was completed on budget. I'll definitely be using Complete Web Design in the future!

They were a referral from a mutual friend. We were impressed with Complete Web’s portfolio and skill set. We also compared their offer with that of another designer as well as past vendors.

Initially, Complete Web redesigned our website. We also asked them to move the hosting and software platform to a more cost-effective and better-performing solution. Complete Web continues to implement updates to the site.

Although it is hard to measure the effects of the redesign on traffic numbers, it has been positively received by both past clients and prospective ones. We are happy whenever a potential client walks into the office and has already reviewed our portfolio online. This is a testament to the clarity and organization of Complete Web’s design.

The workflow is very smooth. They’ve met all of our deadlines. We are usually in contact with one person, which makes it easy to avoid miscommunication.

I own a full service marketing agency. We do websites, inbound marketing, and traditional PR. We also place direct-hire marketing positions with companies that want in-house help.

What challenge were you trying to address with Complete Web?

Though we offer website design services to our clients, we don’t have a developer on staff. We needed to find a firm that matched our culture, style, and quality of work. It's extremely important that we can trust them to speak directly with our clients without us being present.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We refer business to Complete Web or bring them in on website development projects that come in to our agency. Currently we're working with them on four websites for clients in completely different industries and with very distinct styles. The four sites—for a healthcare company, a real estate agency, a hair salon, and a printing company—each have different requirements, features, and communication styles. Most of the sites they do for us are built in either WordPress or Shopify, but they did build one site in Magento.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The clients always appreciate their timeliness. Complete Web is never the one holding up or bottlenecking the process. Usually the clients hold up the process because we’re waiting for them to give us content.

Website launches are seamless. Jason tests everything and he's always on call if anything needs to be fixed. Design elements are on par with what clients need and want. Jason is always available to talk to them if something needs to be explained or changed. A site doesn't move to launch if the client isn’t happy.

How did Complete Web perform from a project management standpoint?

I’ve worked with other developers and Complete Web’s commitment to communication and meeting deadlines is stronger than anything we've had in the past. We work very well together using Google docs. Each project has an inventory of what needs to happen and we use that document almost daily to check in and hold each other accountable. We also use Slack and regular phone calls, as well as video conferencing when we need to show a design to the client.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very solution-oriented. If a client wants to achieve something that's not possible in the current design or on their budget, they’re really good at proposing a workaround. That's why we keep working with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The challenge for them and for us is to figure out how to motivate the client to get us what we need on time so that we can close out projects sooner.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Come prepared with all your ideas, including a list of sites you do and don’t like. Make sure you’re clear on the goals of the site. It’s frustrating when you’re about to launch a site and the client mentions something that never came up in the first conversation. Be really transparent in terms of what you want the site to achieve.
