We worked in steps. I would share the main goals and they would send back a clear plan of how to do it. We broke it into sprints so each one had its own set of features. They tested everything on different devices so it worked everywhere.

They used the right tools so we could launch on iOS and Android at the same time. On the backend they built a system to manage accounts, orders, and schedules. They also built an admin site so my team can add menus, change offers, and send reminders without touching code. Now we can control what users see in the app right from there.

The app looks great and people like it. It was done on time and stayed in budget. The new features work well together and the user experience is much better.

For what projects/services did your company hire Competenza Innovare Private Limited?

We had a prototype database application and proof of concept in Excel. We needed to have the SAAS solution build out in ASP.Net. Competenza took the lead role in all ASP.net development. That included project management, development and QA.

Build a working POC/Beta version of the application as quickly as possible at the lowest cost

I picked a number of vendors to be vetted and gave each of them an 8-hour dev project to test their abilities and vendor relationship. Competenza was one of only a couple that passed the test. After working with a couple vendors, they were by far the best and we shifted most of the project responsibility to them.

Built the ASP.net application from the ground up, through final deployment with our Beta client Project management for the project, including coordinating other outsource resources Stepped up to troubleshoot and fix numerous issues outside of their specific scope. Including Business Intelligence dashboards (Jaspersoft), Front End UI (Angular) and Database (SQL Server)

What was the team composition?

One Lead Developer/Project Manager (Nishant Agrawal), coordinating with 1 front-end developer, 2 business intelligence developers and 1 database developer

We had the best possible experience! Our project was complex and subject to some tight deadlines with minimal hands working on it. Nishant & Competenza not only did exceptional work at every turn, but came through in the clutch many times to keep us on track and meeting all key deliverables and milestones

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Mainly Jira, Skype and Email. We were a small team and that worked perfectly for us.

Dedication to excellence and willingness to step up and take ownership of any issue or problem to make sure we delivered on all our milestones on time and with excellence. Even when numerous unexpected setbacks and issues arose.

The system works well and saves us a lot of time. They keep up with our fast pace and still hit deadlines. Sometimes they even add features we didn’t request because they know it will help.
