We appreciate CDA's efforts, and the final website had a decent design with good aesthetics. However, the overall solution fell short of expectations. The team lacked flexibility, with feedback often ignored or addressed too slowly, causing inefficiencies and misalignment. CDA delivered only a basic framework, leaving much of the work to us. Our teams had to handle content creation, functionality fixes, and maintenance, which we expected to be part of the project. Additionally, several functional issues remain, such as a non-working blog and poor user experience. While we recognize their effort, the experience showed significant areas for improvement, especially in responsiveness and delivering a complete solution.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Collective Design Agency provided branding services for us. They created a design language for our brand and produced everything from a new logo to a pitch deck and a website. The team also created a brand compass, which included a list of brand assets and a design guide. This guide included fonts, colors, logos, social media icons, and dos and don'ts for our team to get the best of the new branding. Other deliverables included social media graphics, icons, a pitch deck, and case study portfolios.

We worked with three teammates from Collective Design Agency.

We found them through referrals from our team in Vietnam. We chose them because they had great use of AI tools, something we use extensively at Asia Circles, enabling them to produce great-looking work efficiently and at a great cost point for the quality. We worked together from May–September 2025. However, Collective Design Agency continues to host our website and make improvements to it.

We had several clients remark that our pitch deck looked great, helping us secure more than three new clients. Collective Design Agency's work also helped them secure further work -- with our clients remarking that they needed to get CDA to adapt their brochures too! In addition, our new branding, alongside reworked infographics and professional social media backgrounds, played a role in a 1,000% increase in impressions on social media during the months we have worked together.

We worked with Collective Design Agency to create a custom isometric illustration map for our Lotty Friends Kids Playground and they delivered exactly what we needed, under a tight timeline. The illustration was important to us — it had to capture the spirit of our brand, be vibrant and kid-friendly, and clearly show the full layout of our space for print usage.

Despite the time crunch (we only had about two weeks), CDA stayed focused, communicative, and on track. They listened to feedback, made quick iterations, and made sure the final result was not only beautiful but usable.

The final illustration now lives across our printed materials and in-store signage. It brings the playground to life in a way that’s fun, functional, and completely aligned with our visual identity.

Overall, it was a smooth and professional process and we appreciated CDA’s ability to balance creativity with structure under real deadlines.
