We approached Centre Source to develop an iOS and Android mobile app for B2B e-commerce marketplace with tracking and ordering features for GCC and Indian Region. Our focus was to make a simple yet good performing application which can be scalable easily.

The project was to build an ecosystem where B2B users can interact with each other, browse product and services etc, the app also have a timeline where each updates from the users in that locality will be shown. App have a paid plan where the users can search for vendors from different region. The deliverables include iOS App, Android App, Web Application and Web Admin portal, also the maintenance and deployment. The Technology in which the centre source done this project is PHP Laravel and Flutter for mobile App

My main interaction was with the Business Analyst, Project managers and UI/UX designers, As far as I know, a total of 10+ people did work on this project on various stages.

The have delivered the project and is currently live and gaining momentum, we are currently discussing the next phases of the project. The performance and the experience of the application was above my expectations.

They had weekly meetings and Scrum meetings, I used to join the any of the team meeting at least once in a month. That was one of my conditions for this project, they accepted that and managed the same. For communication we used slack and email, informal updates were through WhatsApp

They were transparent on all aspects of the project even when some hurdles and delays they were in communicating the same in advance about it. This pretty much helped me to plan the launch strategy and timing of the project. So according to me it was communication and transparency.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They expect approvals on each and every changes, that was something which could be avoidable, but end of the day that strategy helped in this project, so I don’t find anything to be improved.

After initial testing, we applied for incubation in different countries to start our business and we have been selected in multiple places. Everyone whom we show this, say wow to design and outstanding performance.

If any delays or changes they have always been prompt in informing us at the earliest and they always catch up to the timeline even with more resources.

Beta testing is always important, there will be some minor bugs found which was expected. But they were quick to fix and do the tests again.
