We asked Candybox to build our 2023 Conference Website. We wanted something fresh and captivating - to elevate the user experience as well as to drive ticket sales. 

We had an existing WP website template that Candybox built us that we would use every year, where we would update the styling and copy, but this year we wanted to build on the template and make this year's website really stand out. We also needed a quick turn-around time as we wanted to launch the website within 2 weeks of approaching Candybox.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Mahfuz, the Sr. Brand Strategist, gave us some great ideas that we implemented in the 2023 website design. Aaron, the Lead Web Developer, executed the design flawlessly. The website was completed within our very short-turn around time and at a very reasonable cost. The overall experience was very good. 

The process was very easy, Aaron checked in very often, making sure we were on track and the deliverables were in-line with our overall vision. I highly recommend Candybox. We've been using them for digital marketing services for over 7 years and consider them a true partner in our success.

The project was delivered on time and at a very reasonable cost. The project management was outstanding. They checked in with us throughout the entire process, ensuring that they were executing our vision properly. Any changes/updates that we requested were handled almost immediately. The team is extremely professional and polite; a pleasure to work with. They make things very easy and smooth.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The Candybox team is with you through the entire journey of the project. They make things very easy for their clients and they deliver outstanding work at a great price. I know I can trust them when we work together to give me great advice and engaging ideas. I know that they understand the urgency of my projects and will deliver on time and on budget. 

Their team is very professional and wants me to succeed. Very often, businesses have to sacrifice quality for speed, or customer service for price. With Candybox, I don't have to sacrifice anything. I get the quality at high speed, great service and great price.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Candybox Marketing could have done differently?

I can't think of anything that they can do better.

Candybox Marketing helped build and develop our website from scratch and presented different options for logos based on our mission, vision, and requirements.

I met through a recommendation from a mutual contact. I realized they were the company I wanted to work with based on our first meeting, where they actively listened to our needs and our company’s story. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October 2020–June 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve already launched the site, but we haven’t made any efforts to market it so we don’t have any traffic at the moment.

How did Candybox Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was absolutely amazing. They were very proactive and professional throughout the development, and they were always willing to adapt to the changes we wanted to try.

I was very concerned about this dashboard control we created because we haven’t used anything like it. Every time something goes wrong, they were always very accommodating and would guide me through the process — they never got upset.

We typically communicated through email, Trello, and the phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What I loved about them was their professionalism, understanding, and kindness.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We didn’t find any issues while we were working with them, as they were very patient and understanding of our concerns.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

When it comes to communication, I would advise being more responsive to their needs. I would also recommend being more honest and upfront with your feedback, and open to their suggestions.

• We had a 70% vacancy rate months ago- with all the changes we are 97% full, so now 03% vacancy, some of that is organic for this time of year and the rest is all Candybox and the changes made

Staff have always responded in a timely matter, send us a quote right away for any extras, and then notify us when it is complete. The meetings are very informative, and always willing to take the time to explain, and discuss upcoming recommendations
