In 2016 the company became a publicly listed company, trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange - Ventures. We hired Busy Seed to help us expanding the brand outside Brazil, where YDreams is a recognized brand.

The Goals were to expand the network of investors in the United States, Canada and Germany, where the company has stocks trading.

I have met one of the founders of Busy Seed to common friends and liked their business proposition. They had a very good approach and smart use of resources, optimizing our return.

The Busy Seed team took over all our social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. They were responsible for setting up the budget for paid ads and selected the most appropriated medias in order to reach the biggest amount of investors. Their team would create the content for all social media.

What was the team composition?

We had a key project manager and account manager. Founders would help directly as well, which was great. They had a copywriter and a designer to help with posts.

The company was launched as a Global operation and won many new investors in all 3 countries, affecting the stock price and the volume of shares negotiated.

We had great synergy with the team from Busy Seed.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The Busy Seed team brought a lot of experience and the treatment was very personal. They were very proactive and very open minded to our suggestions. They had knowledge on techniques that we never heard of and that was very important to achieve the positive results.

Are there any areas for improvement?

As the company grows, we expect they could have some benefits to negotiate bigger deals with Facebook and Google to maximize the investment in ads.

They also kept me updated throughout the project. As a result, we saw better online visibility, more organic traffic, and an increase in customer inquiries.

BusySeed’s initiatives increased qualified leads, strengthened our online presence, and contributed to business growth that exceeded our expectations. We experienced a 46% increase in qualified leads, a 63% increase in website inquiries, and a 34% increase in our conversion rate.

How did BusySeed perform from a project management standpoint?

They managed the project professionally with clear communication, organized milestones, and on-time delivery. We primarily communicated via email and messaging apps.

Overall, we were very satisfied. If anything, more frequent progress updates during key phases would have made an already great experience even better.

The BusySeed team helped us establish a lead generation strategy, brand awareness strategy, and brand engagement strategy on LinkedIn, Facebook, Google, and Twitter. They also help us with LinkedIn messaging campaigns which helped us drive attendance to one of our biggest events of the year. 

Deliverables included cleaning lists and executing digital ad campaigns on the platforms listed above using the copy and creative we provided.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The LinkedIn messaging campaign we started in early 2022 was very successful and helped us drive a lot of registrants and attendees. Our lead generation campaign used for the launch of a new carrier partner at our organization was a learning experience for all of us. 

While we didn't generate many high-quality leads through the campaign, we learned how well certain platforms and strategies worked with our target audience which will drive decisions for future launches.

One thing BusySeed could do to improve is thorough research on third-party services prior to recommending them to a client. While it was interesting to go through demos alongside our BusySeed Client Success Manager, it would have been in the best interest of our time and money for BusySeed to provide more expertise when making recommendations for new tools/software.
