We asked Burst to perform competitor research, provide a brand audit and deliver brand messaging for Moodle, drawing on an analysis of Moodle’s current brand perception, messaging, and market positioning. As part of this, Burst produced a communications guideline document and a style guide to help us produce on-brand content and comms. Using what they'd uncovered in these stages, Burst then produced a series of new names for our global event, a number of tiered product names, and further naming conventions (for partners and various Moodle products and services).

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Burst successfully delivered all of the brief requirements, including naming conventions and the renaming of our global event. This has allowed us to proceed with a number of product-related projects — and it's also meant that we can begin creating the framework and marketing assets for our global event in 2026.

The Burst team managed our projects very well, consistently delivering assets on time and communicating with us regularly via email and in weekly meetings. They went above and beyond to ensure we were happy, and were all very friendly, responsive and easy to work with.

Burst Digital's team was highly easy to work with and very flexible, providing many opportunities for us to feed back and hone the deliverables they were creating. This approach meant that our stakeholders felt listened to and were very pleased with the end results of the collaboration. From a project management standpoint, the Burst team delivered on time without exception and were extremely professional and unfailingly amiable.

None that we can think of — we'd definitely recommend Burst to anyone.

They showed extreme patience as we came back continuosly with lots of feedback which they responded really well to and kept iterating until we felt we had nailed the overall feel.

We had an outdated website and an evolving company culture. The site is not a transacting site, but more informative for certain target audiences. We don't have any company brand guidelines so we needed to work with an agency who could help us define "who we are" at the same time as build the site.

Initially I thought they had a New York office, or staff, which was impotant to me since I knew we neede a partner to come up with our company branding.  I thought visiting our offices in person was important to understand us in order to tell our story. We were able to do the work virtually, but I think some in person collabroation upfront may have spend up the early phase of the project.

I’m the transformation consultant of a business consultancy firm.

We needed someone to help us rebrand our company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Burst Digital provided us with web development and branding services. The team delivered a logo associated with our values, a brand book containing the colors, fonts, and different approaches to marketing strategies, and a WordPress-based website. The main functions of the website are the complete management of online job vacancies and linking capabilities to social media websites.

The project is done, but they’re currently providing us with monthly maintenance and support.

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact was an account manager, who was highly communicative and straightforward. They also had a development and design team, but I’ve never spoken with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested about £6,000 (approximately $7,300 USD) on this project, and spend £100 ($120 USD) monthly on maintenance.

We worked on this project from August–November 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The key drivers to our success are increased customer engagement and positive feedback to experience. I found the team very knowledgeable, and they essentially served as a one-stop shop for all my needs.
