Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of a community interest company. Our purpose is to enhance regional cyber defense awareness through three strategic pillars: building a collaborative ecosystem, educating about cybersecurity, and promoting cybersecurity skills as a career path.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Bulb Studios?

We needed help developing a unique website for our new nonprofit company while we were trying to figure out our purpose and strategic objectives.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bulb Studios has developed our website from scratch. Initially, we coordinated with our PR and other partners to give them a plan to translate into a website. Bulb Studios has also been gradually building our brand and identity. The team has designed the website's pages and embedded the project I was leading. Bulb Studios has also created branded materials.

What is the team composition?

We've worked with 2–5 teammates from Bulb Studios.

How did you come to work with Bulb Studios?

Someone referred Bulb Studios to me. I chose them over other options because they were close to my geographic location, their pricing fit our budget, they had a great culture fit, they offered good value for the cost, and their company values aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Bulb Studios has successfully built our brand and reflected the project's objectives I was leading. We've received lots of positive stakeholder comments, and we're now able to share the website as our main source of information.

How did Bulb Studios perform from a project management standpoint?

Bulb Studios' project management is excellent. We communicate via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and emails or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm impressed by how quickly Bulb Studios delivers and responds to queries and requests.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on. I'm very happy with them.

I am Technical Director of an Air Quality company offering innovation solutions to a range of private and public-sector organisations.

For what projects/services did your company hire BULB Studios?

We were looking to develop an app which enabled users to understand air quality risks, and make appropriate lifestyle decisions, including routes taken.

What were your goals for this project?

The development of a demonstration app.

How did you select BULB Studios?

We had worked with Bulb in the past, and had been impressed by their work.

As above, an app to demonstrate air quality data integration into mobile platforms, including demonstration of routing advice.

What was the team composition?

EarthSense specifying the app, Bulb leading on UX/UI, and development.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

A very smooth and attractive app was developed, and which attracted a number of users.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

very effective - used teams and slack to manage development very smoothly

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The UX/UI was completed to a very high level - obviously professionals at delivering effective user experiences.

Are there any areas for improvement?

not really- it was well-delivered.
