With a portfolio of more than 300 satisfied clients, the company has become one of the leading system integrators in the SEE region.

For what projects/services did your company hire BrightMarbles?

Ibis was building an order processing solution for a regional telco. In simple terms, one use case scenario is when a customer buys a phone in their store, a clerk inputs all necessary information, an solution would integrate with other systems and activate a SIM card, create a user profile, and run all other predefined steps. The architecture used a universal The Information Framework (SID), mapping all information that goes through the organization to standardized definitions. Experts with domain knowledge in integration in telecommunications from BrightMarbles were hired to help the team Ibis to complete necessary project activities.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed experts with domain knowledge, who could quickly join the team and help us make the development process faster. In short, our goal was to accelerate development but still keeping the quality of our work at a high level.

BrightMarbles was involved in the development and customization of the iBanking app as an extended team.

With the bigger team, holding high expertise in the field, without the need for recruitment, and therefore additional costs, the overall team was ready to tackle the problems and meet deadlines promptly.

The bigger team also meant a more diverse experience, which ultimately resulted in better security, since it was easier to follow up on the trends, and exchange opinions.

What were your goals for this project?

To expand the team with experienced professionals without a need to recruit new members. To integrate that expanded team to the original team seamlessly, and start delivering and meeting the deadlines as soon as possible.

With a new vision of internet banking, NF Innova set off to build a unique, omnichannel B2B app. All channels: The Internet, smartphones, tablets, contact centers, ATMs were to work together to provide the best user experience, regardless of the device used.

.NET, C#, MsSql, Android Java were the chosen technologies. This solution was to be uniquely customized for every business client and financial institution.

The BrightMarbles team consisted of backend (.NET) and mobile (Android) developers.

The app was successfully developed and customized for major banking institutions.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

As expected, the team blended successfully, and we’re satisfied with the collaboration, communication, and delivery. It was done in agile methodology provided by NF Innova.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

First of all, I liked the way their team clicked with ours, they showed a great deal of professionalism and flexibility. Based on that, it was really easy to entrust communication with direct clients to them.

The second thing, they brought a unique and valuable perspective and experience to the team, which I believe leveled up the overall user experience.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There’s always room for improvement, without a strive to be better, we wouldn’t grow. BrightMarbles is still a small company, they need to work on improving some of the processes, but my overall experience regarding the collaboration is more than positive.

We tasked Bright Marbles to build our application, a multi-sided platform between coaches and users. Bright Marbles provided the designs, built the mobile application for users to track their habits / access content / chat with their coaches, and a web portal where coaches could manage communication with their patients (users).

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They designed the full mobile/web architecture, created all the UX designs, and built the application - managed the process well every step of the way and helped us iterate our way to a beautifully-designed and highly-functional application.

Very responsive through-and-through. They had a team leader (Dunja) assigned to us to help manage communications and keep things on track. We made a pivot halfway through the timeline (based on preliminary user feedback we received), and Bright Marbles responded quickly and effectively. They moved from rapid development to agile development to meet our needs, and completed the new project ahead of schedule and at the originally proposed budget.

We worked together with various people from BrightMarbles for many years with their engineers directly integrated into all our teams. They helped us to create and maintain our mobile app written in Flutter, our website build in React/NextJS, and our back-end services and API's using PHP and C# on the .NET Core Framework. 

Additionally we also worked with their DevOps and platform engineers to maintain our infrastructure on AWS and Azure. Over the years we have build out our architecture from a monolith to a micro-service infrastructure with the help of BrightMarbles.

We moved away from our monolithic legacy platform to new micro-service architecture with the help of BirghtMarbles.
