Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the Managing Director of MarcVic Services; a Romanian technology service provider and consultancy company that empowers organizations across various industries with the right tools, data, and technologies, to help informed decisions based on real-time data collection sensors (indoor/outdoor footfall counting and heat-mapping, customer segmentation), spatial analytics & location planning (socio-demography, GIS-Geomarketing), route planning and optimization and last minutes orders scheduling.

Our project’s mission called "LaOser.ro" was to create a better life for many people and small businesses in Romania. Our challenge is to provide our customers with a robust, easy-to-use, and comprehensive classifieds portal in a way that ensures that many people and small businesses have access to add, display, and manage their product and service offerings on the Romanian market.

How did you select BloomDev and what were the deciding factors?

We found them through a referral and considering than along with 3 other vendors. Because the project was complex in terms of selecting the right platform used, we needed a result-driven partner that was committed to providing value-added customer support.

They designed and developed a Joomla based business solution/ We first started with a discovery session to go over the business challenges. Then they gave us the best advice and project management hits, to approve before starting the software development. They completed the test project in 4 weeks which allowed us to test functionalities and give feed-back. The final project was deployed then and is still under their supervision, reviews and continue supports

There were 2 people involved from both companies; one was the Project Manager and another was the manager of the company

Through our valuable partner Bloom Dev, we launched LaOser.ro on our Romanian market in 2013; Throughout this period, Bloom Dev has been constantly supporting us with technical advice, site & module maintenance, SEO ranking improvements, advice on future development opportunities.

As a manager and technical advisor, Marius Bara was one of the best business partners I’ve ever worked with: agile, flexible, understanding the business needs, and contributing with valuable ideas. The team is good at focusing on and delivering the requests on the agreed deadline. Starting collaboration with him is equivalent to a guarantee for a successful delivery.

Speed ​​of reaction to our requests, short response time to technical requests, availability in finding solutions for optimizing and developing site capabilities

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Although the relationship has been excellent so far, we need to improve together the documentation of the various stages of current development of the platform and ways of future development of the site.
