Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the COO of Shalaby Labs, a medical laboratory established in 1994. We serve the medical sector in north Egypt, and we have around 130 employees.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with BIG MOVE PRODUCTION?

We have a new logo, design, and social media presence for our lab since social media has become very important in the medical sector in the last six years. Our old site had been done almost 20 years earlier, so it was outdated.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They designed and created a new website for us, which is integrated with our database. We had an existing website, but BIG MOVE PRODUCTION did an extreme makeover or total renewal. They just took some of the content from the old site. Patients can log in and see their results online. 

They produced a video at our lab, using moving cameras and they did a complete photo session for our staff. The video editing and scripting were fully done by them. The video featured our staff, which BIG MOVE PRODUCTION instructed on how to move and behave. We didn’t use actors in order to reduce cost and to make the video more real. Their team also has done some social media marketing for us on YouTube and Facebook.  

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with around six people from their team, including the manager.

How did you come to work with BIG MOVE PRODUCTION?

We started working with them before they were called BIG MOVE PRODUCTION. Back then, they were just a young group with new visions and new things to offer.

One of their members is a friend of mine and offered his team’s services. They came from Cairo and did an amazing presentation. They wanted to handle all the innovations we were dreaming of, but we only used them for logo design initially because they hadn’t done a lot of work for previous clients. After seeing them be successful in smaller tasks and looking at their work for other clients, we’ve expanded our engagement with them. 

How much have you invested with them?

There are deviations in prices, where things cost less in our region. Over the last six years, we’ve spent around $60,000 with their team. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with BIG MOVE PRODUCTION around December 2015 and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re promoting a diagnostics panel for patients and the number of sold panels is directly proportional to BIG MOVE PRODUCTION’s online work. It’s commercialized only via social media, and they’re the only company doing it for us. We sell around 1,000 panels per month.

How did BIG MOVE PRODUCTION perform from a project management standpoint?

The communication is excellent, and they’re almost perfect with deadlines. We usually communicate through phone calls and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Each video they did for us is comparable to one that cost $60,000. They’ve done over six videos for us, and all of them combined cost less than that amount of money but the quality is great. BIG MOVE PRODUCTION is great in terms of cost versus benefits with the work they’ve done.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The speed of the website could be improved, though I’m not sure if the problem is on their end or with our hosting. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

At the start, I didn’t trust them and it took four years before I outsourced social media work to them. If they didn’t engage with clients professionally, it could’ve ended in disaster. If someone had told me from day one that they were trustworthy, it would’ve saved me being late three years with having our current social media presence, so trust them.

they were funny videos and the process was very smooth and easy, we have sent them the brand messages and brand guideline, they propose the ideas for the videos and script, then we started proceeding with the project

the videos have been shared a lot we got a noticeable increment in our reach

they are so fast already, i think no need for anything to get improved for me
