Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

To achieve the set objectives, Bewsys will ensure the effective and efficient completion and delivery of the following tasks: 

1. Scoping and feasibility: Bewsys interacted with various stakeholders to understand the current system for social welfare, analysing its strengths and weaknesses and identifying the gaps of the existing social protection information management system. This involved interacting with the various roles and divisions in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, such as the Social Policy and Welfare Business Units. It was also at this stage that Bewsys gathered the functional and non-functional requirements of the Social Protection Management Information System. 
2. Design and Development: The software requirement specification document will be used to design and develop a fully functional Social Protection Management Information System for us. 
3. Implementation phase: This stage will focus on the deployment of the fully functional system, training of identified users and the migration of data. 
4. Maintenance and Support: This final phase will centre on the system handover, post-implementation, support, and warranty.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

1.  Reduction in Processing Time: Measure the average time taken to process social welfare applications or requests before and after the implementation of digital systems. 
2. Improvement in Service Delivery: Measure the satisfaction levels of beneficiaries with the quality and timeliness of services delivered through digital platforms. 
3. Enhanced Data Accuracy: Measure the reduction in errors and inaccuracies in beneficiary information and benefit calculations with the use of digital systems. 
4. Increased Program Reach: Measure the expansion of social welfare programs to underserved or marginalized populations facilitated by digital outreach and enrollment initiatives. 
5. Enhanced Data Analytics: Measure the use of data analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform policy decisions and improve program effectiveness. 
6. Increased Accessibility: Measure the percentage of the population able to access social welfare services through the mobile apps.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Developer were able to stay within timeframe, it was more an issue on the hiring country that caused the delay rather than the developing company.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed with their ability to simplify and communicate technical terms to the level of the hiring company and the ability to provide advise to the hiring companies IT team on way to remove barriers on our end to allow the progress of the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Bewsys could have done differently?

A face-to-face could have been beneficial for both parties, allowing the clarification or understanding of each parties expectation. The virtual discussion was a challenge, especially with the internet connectivity issue mainly on our end.

Proforest is a non-profit group that supports companies, governments and other organisations to implement their commitments to the responsible production and sourcing of agricultural commodities and forest products. As part of our work, we conduct audits such as mill verification and audits aimed at helping primary producers and processors to put management practices into place that meet the requirements of the sustainability initiatives. 
Proforest relied on paper-based checklists and guidance for field work including audits making it difficult for auditors to link checklists to large amounts of background information. 
Advances in technology however, presented an opportunity to provide all required information and facilitate easy reference without relying on large volumes of paper documents. We therefore required Bewsys to create a customized Proforest Field Audit App which will allow field practitioners to have all the necessary audit information readily available.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Creation of wireframes and detailed description of app features and user interface, including interface for the display of checklists and other multimedia (video, audio, images, interactive maps, etc.) 
• Development of the design (at least 3 options to be submitted for review) - wireframes and design reviewed and approved by the Proforest App Development Team. 
• Development and configuration of an Alpha version of the App focusing on key features (defined during ideation) 
• Review and approval of the Alpha App design and functionalities by Proforest App Development team Quality, security and performance testing and fix. 
• Implementation and delivery of the features and design of the app (Beta version). 
• Finalization, including final quality testing and approval. 
• Support for the application process and launch of the app in the various store as well as training for the Proforest Focal Points.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The Bewsys team led by Robert O.was open-minded, taking inputs into account and asking questions to ensure that they understood clearly what our team required. There was a dedicated manager assigned to ensure that agreed deliverables are met without compromising on the quality of outputs. 
They are good communicators clearly providing information to ensure that both teams had the same understanding to help in the delivery of outputs. They were flexible – accommodating our limited understanding with regards to IT while explaining what our ask meant for the app design and development.
