Bend led a redesign and overhaul of Jesuits.org and the five websites for the individual Jesuit provinces in the US and Canada -- a massive family of sites with a shared CMS. They also developed a standalone website for our new project called the Jesuit Media Lab and also a redesigned site for our outreach to young men interested in pursuing a vocation with the Jesuits (BeAJesuit.org).

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The websites were deployed in a timely fashion with fantastic design and high usability. The Jesuit Media Lab website won top overall new website for 2024 from the Catholic Media Association, a national member organization. The BeAJesuit site won second prize new website in 2021, also from the CMA.

Bend is very responsive. This latest project with them was massive -- five big sites, lots of constiuents, lots of moving parts. They stayed on top of it all. Whether via email or frequent Zoom calls or helpful Loom videos, I always felt like we were on the same page.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They do it all -- Their values aligned with ours and Bend Marketing was extremely communicative, technically savvy, great at troubleshooting, and top-notch at design. We couldn't ask for more from a web designer/developer and will continue to work with them as long as they'll have us!

I came to Bend Marketing with the need for a brand new website for my brand new business. I had an idea of what I wanted but nothing concrete. Ashley worked diligently with me to narrow down what I needed in my website and provided several creative concepts for me to review. We were quick to settle on a design that I fell in love with. Once content was shared with him, design elements were added to elevate the website even more. The website launch was seamless and working with Bend was a breeze.

Ashley was a great communicator. Everything was delivered in a timely manner. One item I enjoyed was the videos he would send sharing his thought process during website design as well as ones that were pertinent to answering any questions I may It truly felt as if we were working together, in person.

Not that I can think of. This was the third time I've worked with a website developer and it was the smoothest experience I've had by far.

We had a previous agency develop our first website but we needed a refresh. Bend was able to work with our financial and time constraints to coach us through the process of building out a brand new site. Start to finish, we got it done in about 6 weeks. After about 10 months of working together we decided to expand our scope to add SEO. We had no prior investment here.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They did a fantastic job of setting, managing and ultimately exceeding expectations on the website build. On an ongoing basis they have maintained the underlying site technology, including dealing with security issues. They are very data-driven and excellent communicators. We get a regular monthly report on all activities performed, metrics, and often some suggestions for improvement. 

For SEO, we also get a regular monthly update with clear before and after metrics to show us progress/ROI for our investment, in this case, improvements in search performance.

They're absolutely top-notch! We actually look at some of their practices while trying to improve our own practices. They are normally on schedule and when delayed, they manage expectations well. They generally respond within hours.

They are small, one might say "boutique", yet maintain a very high level of service, responsiveness, and above all, quality. Furthermore, they deliver good value for money which we also appreciate as a small early-stage business.

We’ve seen increased sales and ROAS. Sales have tripled compared to a year ago, and ROAS averages between 4 and 5. We’ve also seen increased email engagement.
