Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Founder and Executive Director of The 38 Challenge - a non profit whose mission is to eliminate suicide through challenging the stigma associated with being vulnerable.

We hired Be A Legend to help develop our website in a away that helped tell our powerful story. We had several different services that we wanted to be hosted under one roof in an easy to follow and visually appealing format.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I know Lara Jones, the founder of Be a Legend INC and knew I could trust her and her team to get the job done.

We started with an initial conversation, I explained to Lara my vision for the website, we worked together on a template, began the project and then were in consistent communication until it was done.

I worked with Lara Jones, CEO but her team of highly skilled professionals helped put the website together.

The project was completed in a timely manner and had awesome feedback from stakeholders and customers.

Lara was very upbeat and was easy to work with. She made time even when her schedule was very busy.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their attention to detail and how much had they fun working with our company.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had a lot of video content which is hard to store in some cases, so maybe a larger cloud.

I’m the CIO of Whitton Companies, a construction company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Be a Legend, Inc.?

One of our companies services the plumbing needs of the homes that we’ve built. We needed a company to help us build a social presence and increase the online reputation of that business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started the engagement by discussing our needs with Be a Legend, Inc.. After that, they gave me some checklists of different things that we needed to do as we started to work through the process.

One of Be a Legend, Inc.’s responsibilities involves reputation management through Google reviews. So when a customer wants to do a review of our services, we send Be a Legend, Inc. a list of the customers we’ve worked with for that week. The team will then reach out to those customers to ask them for a review, which the team will then post to our Google reviews.

Aside from that, Be a Legend, Inc. also handles our SEO and social media marketing efforts. They’re tasked with creating content and posting content to our Facebook and YouTube accounts.

I’ve worked directly with Lara (Founder & CEO) and Eric (CTO & VP).

Be a Legend, Inc. reached out to me through a cold call.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent somewhere between $250,000–$300,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen a significant improvement in our reputation, as well as increases in our site traffic, customer calls, and emails from our website. I don’t have specific numbers, but the bottom line is that when Be a Legend, Inc. says they will do something, they will do it. That’s what makes them great to work with.

How did Be a Legend, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

Be a Legend, Inc. has performed well in terms of project management. They’re honest and fair, and their communication is very clear. They’re always very good at communicating changes and progress to us and giving us a clear timeline.

We primarily communicate through Zoom and in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most important thing is that I can trust Be a Legend, Inc. to deliver on what they say they will do. I also appreciate their flexibility and ability to scale their services up or down based on our needs at the time.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I haven’t had any problems with them.

I am the Managing Director of Dynamic Appliance Repair. I manage all business operations.

For what projects/services did your company hire Be a Legend, Inc.?

Our website was not performing well at all. I crossed paths with Be A Legend and sfer going through reports learned that we needed a major redesign. Once our website was redone by BAL we started seeing results a few months after. They certainly lived up to our expectations.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Laura found us through the Scottsdale Chamber. She reached out and introduced herself and set up a meeting. The deciding factor was value! Of course BAL is not the cheapest but they are one of the best! Laura's passion for her business really was the key factor in our decision.

We met with Laura in person and signed the contract that same day! We were in owe of her professionalism, transparency and knowledge After the 1st meeting

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

In total we worked with 2. Laura and Eric. Both are the owners. Laura is more on the sales side and Eric handles the day to day operations. I work closely with Eric, usually on a weekly basis. I do know that they have a team of folks that work on the backend of things but I have never directly worked with anyone else besides these 2.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our website is well put together and has a lot of traffic since the redesign. Not only does it perform well, we get compliments on it often. Our business has doubled since BAL redone our website and took over our Google Ad campaigns and GMB. We often have to pause ads due to being overwhelmed which is a good thing!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Eric was easy to work with and all communications were timely.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We admire the passion they have for their business and the marketing industry.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Meetings could be more frequent.
