I am the Founder and Executive Director of The 38 Challenge - a non profit whose mission is to eliminate suicide through challenging the stigma associated with being vulnerable.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CIO of Whitton Companies, a construction company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Be a Legend, Inc.?
One of our companies services the plumbing needs of the homes that we’ve built. We needed a company to help us build a social presence and increase the online reputation of that business.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started the engagement by discussing our needs with Be a Legend, Inc.. After that, they gave me some checklists of different things that we needed to do as we started to work through the process.
One of Be a Legend, Inc.’s responsibilities involves reputation management through Google reviews. So when a customer wants to do a review of our services, we send Be a Legend, Inc. a list of the customers we’ve worked with for that week. The team will then reach out to those customers to ask them for a review, which the team will then post to our Google reviews.
Aside from that, Be a Legend, Inc. also handles our SEO and social media marketing efforts. They’re tasked with creating content and posting content to our Facebook and YouTube accounts.

We’ve seen a significant improvement in our reputation, as well as increases in our site traffic, customer calls, and emails from our website. I don’t have specific numbers, but the bottom line is that when Be a Legend, Inc. says they will do something, they will do it. That’s what makes them great to work with.
How did Be a Legend, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
Be a Legend, Inc. has performed well in terms of project management. They’re honest and fair, and their communication is very clear. They’re always very good at communicating changes and progress to us and giving us a clear timeline.
We primarily communicate through Zoom and in-person meetings.

For what projects/services did your company hire Be a Legend, Inc.?
Our website was not performing well at all. I crossed paths with Be A Legend and sfer going through reports learned that we needed a major redesign. Once our website was redone by BAL we started seeing results a few months after. They certainly lived up to our expectations.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Laura found us through the Scottsdale Chamber. She reached out and introduced herself and set up a meeting. The deciding factor was value! Of course BAL is not the cheapest but they are one of the best! Laura's passion for her business really was the key factor in our decision.

We met with Laura in person and signed the contract that same day! We were in owe of her professionalism, transparency and knowledge After the 1st meeting
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
In total we worked with 2. Laura and Eric. Both are the owners. Laura is more on the sales side and Eric handles the day to day operations. I work closely with Eric, usually on a weekly basis. I do know that they have a team of folks that work on the backend of things but I have never directly worked with anyone else besides these 2.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our website is well put together and has a lot of traffic since the redesign. Not only does it perform well, we get compliments on it often. Our business has doubled since BAL redone our website and took over our Google Ad campaigns and GMB. We often have to pause ads due to being overwhelmed which is a good thing!

Eric was easy to work with and all communications were timely.
