What challenge were you trying to address with Bangluxor?

The biggest issue was communication. I had to keep chasing the vendor with calls and follow ups just to get any response, and most of the time there was none. The project ended up being 8 weeks late, and even then there was no clear update or accountability from their side. Each week they would make one small change and then disappear again for days, which made the whole process slow and frustrating.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They were hired to develop our website, but the result fell short of expectations in terms of quality. The front end looked acceptable, even though it was delivered very late, but the real issue started afterward. As soon as I tried to make edits, the system became unstable. Things kept breaking, and the whole setup felt fragile and poorly built. It wasn't possible to do any edits or certain sections and also the site was crashing due to the weird developed parts but also if they were answering me or at least do the edits then I would give them 4 even after being late

the communication is terrible but at first they were friendly. one team mate is very friendly but I think they don't care about deadlines and quality of the delivery or anything after payment

I would advise to put a very strict rules for communication and their deadlines and also if they want to be sure that they can edit later, should be mentioned on the contract.

Bangluxor's project timelines have extended beyond our initial expectations, so the team hasn't delivered strictly on schedule. However, what's mattered more for us has been achieving the level of alignment with our design and vision, and in that regard, we've been able to get the outcome we originally imagined.
Although the timelines could be improved, Bangluxor has remained responsive and committed to refining the details until the final result meets the intended standard. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Bangluxor's willingness to fully align with a high-standard design system rather than defaulting to shortcuts has stood out the most. Many development teams tend to approximate details when things get complex, but Bangluxor consistently aims to match the intended design and interactions as closely as possible.

Bangluxor's main area for improvement would be around timeline management and expectation setting. The project has extended beyond the initial schedule, so having a more structured roadmap with clearer milestones and tighter communication on progress would help keep things more predictable.

Key deliverables include website structure and information architecture, UX/UI design aligned with our brand identity, development and implementation of the new website, mobile optimization and responsive design, performance optimization to improve loading speed, basic SEO setup and on-page optimization, integration of contact forms for lead generation, and testing, QA, and launch support.

Bangluxor’s work has helped us create a more modern, intuitive, and scalable digital platform that better represents Diempaques and supports our business growth. The project has allowed us to achieve clear improvements in terms of image, structure, and UX. The new website reflects our brand identity and trajectory more professionally. In addition, we’ve developed a more organized structure and intuitive navigation, making it easier for users to quickly find information and explore our product portfolio. It has also resulted in a more modern and cohesive visual experience, aligned with the positioning we want to project as a company. Overall, the result is a clearer, more functional platform aligned with our growth vision.

We haven’t gathered enough data to measure long-term performance indicators, such as traffic growth or user engagement, as the website has been live for less than a week. However, we’ve already received three organic leads through the website. We’re currently monitoring key metrics, including user behavior and site performance, to evaluate its impact over time. For now, the improvements are primarily reflected in the renewed visual identity, a clearer structure, and an enhanced UX. We expect to assess measurable results more accurately as we collect more data in the coming weeks and months.

How did Bangluxor perform from a project management standpoint?

Overall, Bangluxor has delivered within the expected timeframe. At the beginning, there were some adjustments to the delivery timeline, partly because it was initially estimated that the website would be simpler to develop. However, as the process progressed, the breadth and robustness of our product portfolio became more evident, which required a greater level of work and led to some delays in the early stages.

Once the full scope of the project was clearly understood, the management process became much smoother, and progress moved forward in a more organized way, meeting the established timelines in the subsequent phases. From our side, we also maintained close follow-up to ensure that all parties remained aligned, which helped maintain clear communication and better project control during the final stage.

Bangluxor has continued to provide ongoing support after the website launch. Their involvement hasn’t been limited to the initial delivery; they’ve assisted with post-launch monitoring, performance optimization, technical adjustments, and general maintenance to ensure the site runs smoothly. This continued support has been important for maintaining site stability, addressing any issues promptly, and implementing improvements as needed.

What we’ve appreciated most about working with Bangluxor is their fully personalized approach. The entire process has been tailored to our specific needs, with a strong willingness to adjust every detail according to what we want to achieve. That ability to adapt the project to our vision has made the experience especially valuable.

Overall, we’ve had a very positive experience working with Bangluxor, and the collaboration has been very good. Having all key team members involved from the beginning would help ensure that everyone receives the same information firsthand and fully understands the overall scope and expectations of the project. This could minimize the need to repeat or relay information later on and facilitate better alignment throughout the different stages of the collaboration.

What challenge were you trying to address with Bangluxor?

We were looking to redo our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bangluxor designed and developed a new WordPress website for us from scratch using Elementor. We purchased a medium website package from the team, and Bangluxor built a catalog website for us. The project consisted of three phases. 

During the first phase, Bangluxor collected all the information through the intake forms the team sent us. Through this process, we provided them with information about our competition, website preferences, and personality. From there, Bangluxor proposed a home page to ensure we would approve it before working on other site pages. 

Additionally, Bangluxor created a brand identity for us. Before working with them, we didn’t have professionally created branding. Bangluxor selected the colors and adjusted our logo to make it look more modern. They developed the website based on the new brand identity.

We worked with four teammates from Bangluxor: Andrés (CEO), a project manager, a designer, and a teammate who collected information from us. 

How much have you invested with them?

The whole package was $2,000. 

How did you come to work with Bangluxor?

I found them through Clutch. We chose Bangluxor because I liked their website’s portfolio; their projects and designs were very clean. Their good pricing was also a factor. I got some other quotes, and Bangluxor was the best fit for us, considering the pricing combined with their portfolio.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from March–May 2024.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website's design was great. From the time Bangluxor came back with their first design, it was very close to what we wanted. When they delivered the secondary pages' designs, they were also similar to what we approved on the home page, with only minor adjustments that the team completed very quickly. We haven't launched the website on our side because we're in the process of hosting, server, and domain migrations.

The whole process was easy because Bangluxor had an excellent team that easily understood what we wanted. Their intake forms were easy to understand, and everything they designed and developed was what we were looking for. Although we had some observations for them throughout the process, we could see they knew what they were doing. Overall, working with Bangluxor was very smooth.

How did Bangluxor perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered the project on time and within our budget. Bangluxor was very flexible, and communication with them was very easy, which was important for us. The team was able to meet with our company's owner, and Bangluxor was always available to meet with us via Zoom and answer any questions that we had. We also communicate via email, Google Meet, and WhatsApp. 

Bangluxor shared the link to the site under construction. Sometimes, we worked with them through a Zoom or Google Meet meeting as they made live changes for us so that we could approve certain elements like colors.

Andrés was very open to helping, communicating, and meeting with us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed with Bangluxor's clean web design. They captured what we wanted to project on the website. 

Our communication with Bangluxor was also outstanding and seamless. They had a great disposition and were easy to get in touch with when we wanted help or to discuss anything. The team offered good service and was very flexible, meeting with our IT services company to review technical issues. They could meet with all departments in our company without issue.

Our previous website was a template, so Bangluxor had to start the new website from scratch in all senses, and they put everything together excellently. We only had a few minor adjustments throughout the process because Bangluxor understood what we wanted since their first proposal.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was nothing they needed to improve.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Provide enough information for Bangluxor. Fill out the intake forms well because they need to know about your company — that's the key. We did a good job collecting the information the team needed to understand what we wanted to project on our site. Therefore, I recommend you take the time to be thorough during that first phase.

Our company started as a local dental clinic, and we started getting more and more foreign patients as time went by. However, our brand image and website haven't been updated. We wanted to redefine our brand by focusing more on foreign patients and updating our website.

Bangluxor has created our company's new branding identity. We provided a new name, and the team designed the logo and branding identity, choosing the color palettes and styles. Bangluxor is also working on creating a new website and is responsible for its design and development.

My main point of contact is Andrés (CEO). I know he works with a design team and other specialists, but I've been mostly in contact with him.

How did you come to work with Bangluxor?

I searched for web development companies on Google and did thorough research. I wanted to work with a company that could deliver a unique design and that was based in Colombia but had international experience. After creating a list of well-ranked companies, I looked at their portfolio and contacted Bangluxor. I met Andrés, who has been helpful and collaborative since the first time we spoke. 

Our initial goal was to redesign our website, and Andrés identified we needed a rebranding too. I liked his proposal and the fact that Bangluxor could offer both services.

We started working with Bangluxor in September 2023, and our project is close to being completed.
