What challenge were you trying to address with BangLUXOR Agency?

I’m a web designer, but I lack the creative perspective to design outside the box. Therefore, I hired BangLUXOR to provide designs that could highlight my business’ strengths and value.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I started the conversation with BangLUXOR, I asked them what would be the steps for bringing to life the ideas I had. After discussing my ideas, they gave me some design examples, and I chose the one I liked but asked them to use it only as a concept.

Parting from that point, we worked through the site pages, designing everything from scratch. Then, they built the site using WordPress and Elementor. Additionally, they helped me identify my hosting problems and guided me on how to implement a solution. Ultimately, they provided me with a cheaper hosting solution than the one I had before.

In addition to the web development, BangLUXOR helped me migrate some content from my old website and guided me on best practices, usability, and SEO. One of their recommendations was actually to list my business on Clutch because they told me that Clutch has a very strong SEO presence. As for keyword research, I provided them with a few keywords that I felt described my business. They used those keywords but also did additional research to provide us with other keywords and optimize the backend’s metadata.

Moreover, we collaborated with BangLUXOR to create some drafts for content. They explained how to organize the content to make the site look good and make it have the most visibility impact to customers.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

BangLUXOR delivered a better-designed and better-operating website with a cheaper hosting solution than the site I formerly had. Their great SEO advice has helped me improve its ranking, and I now have a few Clutch reviews helping me with that part as well; it was a great recommendation.

I’m part of a community of WordPress designers where we showcase each other’s sites. When I posted my site, I got nothing but amazing reviews and compliments about how beautiful, vivid, responsive, and fast it was. Thanks to BangLUXOR’s great work, our site has a very clean design and functional UI.

We started the engagement by designing a work plan, after which BangLUXOR Agency provided us with different UX design options. They used Figma to manage and send the deliverables, which included wireframes, branding assets, and designs that worked on different interfaces.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t officially launched the platform yet, but we can definitely say that we’re all very happy with BangLUXOR Agency’s work. We evaluated our user interaction with heat maps and had a very positive result of about 90%.

How did BangLUXOR Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

BangLUXOR Agency performed well in terms of project management. There were never any delays from their side. We used Freedcamp and Figma for project management, and we communicated mostly through email, phone calls, and online meetings.

We were most impressed with BangLUXOR Agency’s expertise and past work — they have a very strong and diversified portfolio.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they could have done better.

I purchased a WordPress template and tried to create the website myself. I also studied interior design, so I had knowledge about graphic design. However, at a certain point, I needed some help with the more technical aspects.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I had purchased an Elementor template, which I really liked, but I didn’t know how to use it together with WordPress. Hence, BangLUXOR helped me with the code and the technical part. They started with the design and showed me a proposal. When they finished, I was able to understand the UX design; they showed me exactly what it is. 

I also provided them with my social pages, which they studied before transferring some of the content to my website. They actually moved the content in a completely different configuration, which was really nice and useful.

Everything’s going really well so far, and the quality of their work is the best. They’ve also done the technical part and given my site a design that is beautiful and fresh. Also, the guy I’m working with works 24 hours a day, so I can send him a message anytime. He does things really fast for me.

They’ve been able to deliver on time and within my budget, so I am really satisfied and happy. We communicate through WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Everything they’ve done has been impressive for me. I’ve never actually imagined that it’s possible to experience a service like this and have almost everything finished in less than two weeks given my small budget. Overall, the quality of the work, their availability, and everything else has been amazing.

Please describe your company and your position there.

ClearRoad develops tools to better maintain, manage, and fund roads, primarily working with governments. ClearRoad's newest and first customer-facing product is Ecotoll, an app that drivers can use to pay and learn more about tolls. I work as ClearRoad's Marketing Lead, supporting the company's growth efforts and communication strategy.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire BangLUXOR Agency, and what were your goals?

With the launch of our newest product, Ecotoll, we wanted to make sure that we produced eye-capturing ads and posts that communicate the brand's values and identity. Our goal was to create more social media content and effective ads to attract potential users. We brought BangLUXOR onboard to assist with the production of creative assets, based on our brand guidelines, and hope to have them assist in running social media campaigns and ads.

Separately, they have also supported the company in a pilot project in Columbia by assisting us in recruiting of participants through effective ad campaigns and managing the pilot's social media pages and online communication.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We sent them the scope of work for the projects we were hoping to have executed, to which they gave us a quote. We also met with them in order to ensure that work styles and flows were aligned. We appreciated that the agency that was flexible and resourceful, open to exploring and trying new things. They are also very professional and the quality of work in relation to the price was a big deciding factor as well.

For the Ecotoll product, BangLuxor is tasked with production of creative assets and a 30sec video teaser. We work with them by providing them with the creative copy and direction and they execute our vision to create social media posts and ads for different digital platforms.

We also work with them in our pilot in Columbia, where they produce all assets for social media and campaigns, and run ads on facebook related to public awareness and participant recruitent. They also assist in handling the database built from participant recruitment.

We work with about three members of the team but communication is streamlined and organized with Andres being our main point of contact.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

For the ads and campaigns we ran for our pilot project in Columbia, we received around 1,500 applicants in 1 week alone. We have also gotten multiple inquiries and interest from the public, with wide engagement on our social media post. They are very flexible with work styles and have been accommodating of requests, going above and beyond to provide us with advice and assistance on other areas such as CRM and database management.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They are very responsive and attentive. For the Ecotoll project, we met with them to explain our own project flow and preferences and they were quick and easy to adapt.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I appreciate the resourcefulness of this company - they are very willing to adjust, explore and learn new things in order to cater to our needs. They are very flexible with our feedback and deadlines and are willing to go above and beyond to provide their expertise and advice even if it is outside their SOW.

What was the scope of their involvement?

BangLUXOR Agency helped us with our branding and the design of our website. Initially, we showed them some examples of previous brochures we had, but then we realized that our branding was a bit outdated. Hence, we decided to work on a brand refresh that we incorporated into our website, along with the portfolio. We are also currently considering expanding our collaboration with them to digital advertising.

We’ve just launched the website so we don’t have any metrics yet. However, we’ve had very good feedback from clients and collaborators — they’ve noticed a very positive change to the image of our brand. Overall, we are very happy with the results.

They’re very flexible, and we’ve never had any issues with deadlines. They’ve suggested using a specific project management tool, but it’s a bit too complicated for us, so we’ve stuck to WhatsApp, emails, and Google Meet.

What we find most impressive about BangLUXOR Agency is the originality of their design proposal. When we reviewed other companies, we could immediately tell their design skills stood out among the rest.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We engaged BangLUXOR Agency to develop our e-commerce site, so we could sell our products online. We went through a discovery phase to exchange ideas and discuss the initial design of the platform. Their team also offered their suggestions on how we could organize our product inventory and categorize the fruits and vegetables we sold by weight.

Upon finalizing the mockup and getting our feedback, BangLUXOR Agency proceeded with the development stage.
