Bangluxor polished a basic website design I had initially provided. I'm not a web designer; I watched YouTube videos and created a skeleton of the site using WordPress and Elementor. We then defined the scope of work, and in my first meeting with Bangluxor, I explained our company and what I wanted for the site's design and functionality. Bangluxor built an e-commerce website with cart and member area functionalities.

Bangluxor performed an excellent job understanding my needs and delivering an optimized website. Bangluxor followed my initial structure and format, creating designs with their own style. The team incorporated videos and icons and put a lot of creativity into our design. I liked their good taste in color combinations. 

Bangluxor stood out for their receptivity to my feedback and comments on things that needed to be up to my eyes regarding design. I felt included in the work process and found good teamwork in Bangluxor.

We hired Bang Luxor because we had the challenge of designing a disruptive website, out of the ordinary and that kept the essence of our brand. To achieve a very clean image, like a design magazine, that would show more the warmth of the spaces than conventional architectural projects. Always with vegetation and style as the hallmark of our company.

We researched and interviewed five companies offering this service. We made the decision to work with this provider because of their experience, other projects completed and because they are present in both the United States and Colombia, since these are the markets in which we operate.

We started with a first meeting to put on the table our goals, scope and objectives of the project. We indicate some references and start to release creative ideas. From this, we created processes, communication methods, a group to generate traceability. Then we met, observed the progress, defined small adjustments and they delivered a project that exceeded our expectations.

A project manager was our interlocutor and direct contact. Also, a designer and developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The result that has surprised us the most is that our website is now number 1 in positioning. Our clients and users have congratulated us for the clarity and effectiveness of our website. The web traffic is increasing.

All phases of the project are very clear and were attended to within the timeframe stipulated in the project life cycle. Communication was always very clear and precise. Something in favor is that the communication is direct and effective.

The website is not live yet, but everyone is happy with what’s been completed. BangLUXOR Agency checks their work and makes sure that everything is running smoothly. Overall, they’ve done a great of completing everything we’ve asked for.

Everything has been in line with what we expected. We use email for communication and PowerPoint for feedback. We check in every 4–5 days for updates or to let them know where we’re at. They’ve been very responsive to feedback and make any changes we need. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re attentive and good about anticipating our needs; we’ve worked with other designers before, and those were two things we haven’t had in our other experiences. They also bring up good ideas for our customer base. 

We never have to chase after them to complete work, and they come up with solutions for things before they become issues. They are also very eloquent in their creativity, which we’ve found particularly impressive. We’d hire them again, and the cost has been an excellent value for the services.

They’re diligent and always on time. They even deliver before the deadline. We’ve worked after hours, and they’re open to working with us or moving meetings whenever we have time. We’ve asked to communicate through Slack instead of having only email communication.

The website is live, but we're still working on modifying a few things. Since I'm familiar with Elementor, I look at the speed of connection to the other links, the membership connection to membership scheduling, and the website's overall feel — everything's great so far.

They've stayed within the budget and led a refreshing process — I'm very satisfied with project management. I know this type of work takes time on deadlines, but they've been patient with delivering new concepts.

Regarding communication, we started using email, but we moved to WhatsApp because it's easier.

Their best attributes are excellent communication, responsiveness, professionalism, and overall concept designs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could pay more attention to detail and ensure that the logo is perfectly pixelated. My global font was all mixed up when I transferred the website to WordPress.
