ATEAM SOFT SOLUTIONS has created what I had in mind. My platform is technically very demanding, and the team has integrated all the required components. The team is also good at reporting the project’s progress and involving me in the process. 

I’ve learned technical terms from working with ATEAM SOFT SOLUTIONS. The team has a great balance in talking about technical things that are important for me to understand without overwhelming me with the technical aspects. ATEAM SOFT SOLUTIONS keeps discussions as simple as possible.

For example, the mobile app's real-time tracking feature has enhanced our customer experience and transparency. This has led to a reduction of inbound enquiries as customers can now easily track the live status of their shipments without having to contact us.

After explaining our vision and objectives, A Team meticulously planned the project. The schedule of works was broken down into Sprints with a clear timeline. With regards to communication, A Team adopt a collaborate and transparent approach. 

Their team has been highly responsive to our needs and feedback throughout the project, maintaining open lines of communication on a daily basis and actively seeking our input throughout. Regular meetings and progress updates allowed us to stay informed and provided opportunities for us to provide input. If we did need aspects changing, A Team were quick to action this and build it into the Sprints with the aim to minimise project delays.

When challenges arose during the development process, A Team were proactive in addressing and discussing these with our team. They helped to identify solutions which ensured that the final product was still truly aligned with our operational goals.

We were following the Agile/Scrum methodology with them. Every week we jumped on a call so they showed the progress and we gave feedback. There were minimal delays due to modifications in scope that we request, but that was expected and within reason. They responded well and applied modifications without a problem.

We chose this company because of their processes. Their presentation was amazing and they showed us all the tools and strategies they use in order to deliver high quality products.

We were not impressed with their deployment strategies but after we gave them feedback they improved it. Same was with following best coding practices, but once we gave them feedback they went back and improved the code globally

Abhinand has found good team members to work on our project, and we’ve developed an effective workflow. They’re good communicators; we can email or Slack them anytime. We also use GitHub to manage tasks, and they’re very responsive in that regard.

What challenge were you trying to address with ATEAM SOFT SOLUTIONS?

One of our clients wanted to develop a mobile application to help with their e-commerce capabilities, so we needed help with mobile app development and ERP customization.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

After the storyboard was created, ATEAM SOFT SOLUTIONS proposed multiple options for us and the tech stack we could use. The main deliverables are the mobile app and a modified ERP system based on the existing online platform.

The mobile app will be available for iOS and Android. The features include a login that allows people to use their Gmail or Facebook accounts. We also added the one-time password as part of the security measures, along with phone and email validation. The other main features are the ability to add friends and special dates, as well as select the type of product the user wants to send based on the client’s products.

On the other hand, the ERP system will be an inventory, customer, and order management system with a role access permission system and a CMS.

What is the team composition?

Our first point of contact was the COO. After talking to him, he introduced us to the team. We currently speak with someone on the business side and a project manager. Additionally, there’s a front- and backend developer.

In total, we’ve dealt with 7–8 teammates. They’ve also provided a QA person and a BA person, but we don’t speak much to them.

They finish milestones 1–2 days ahead of time. They’re clear and concise on everything. We communicate via Skype, and they use Asana for project management.
