Design - We understood the back end very well but to be honest, we were vaguer on the screens than we should have been. aTeam helped us think through the screens and challenged us (where appropriate) and came up with a great design.

Implementation - Under tight deadlines, aTeam delivered the build, working closely withour development team based in Australia. We have daily standups throughout. We have a high capability team in Austarlia and aTeam fitted right in.

Up to 3 or 4. Abhinand led the design phase and was awesome. Work with him if you get the chance. Joining Abhi was a senior React developer and usibility designers.

The design and implmentation was delivered on time through some challenges put on the team from our side and tight delivery timelines. Thry did a great job.

Communication was great through regular standups. Online design tools helped us collaborate and the teams worked well together in a agile apporach.

They've led the design phase, and they are awesome. I can't recommend enough working with them. He has a great team behind him at aTeam.

None, hire them if you can and I'm always happy to give you a verbal reference as well. We continued the project to later phases and are still working with aTeam.

They have responded to queries and questions in a prompt manner.

They could provide better delivery around the business proposition by testing in such a way that shows a good understanding of the business value and impact. Development and testing were both good but we could not have moved to production without validating the delivery a number of times. Rework is expected in a good delivery project (I am a scrummaster by trade)but it would be improved with a business value focus to ensure key deliverables are met.

Communication was excellent, as was willingness to accurately QC the project. We hope to roll out the channel to our partners in the next quarter.

There were some bugs we identified that perhaps they should have seen first, but we were moving at a quick pace and as mentioned above, they addressed the bugs as soon as they were found.

Within our first consultation meeting, the team demonstrated a strong work ethic, passion about their work, and a genuine desire to provide as much value as possible. There is no question that these guys are the best out there! I am delighted to have worked with ATeam. Their proposal was the most cost and time effective and it was clear that this would be a journey that included the Jochi team every step of the process.

After numerous meetings to understand our needs, they submitted a proposal detailing the methods of development, the team size, methods of communication, and a detailed timeline (sprints). What I found remarkable was the fact that payment was only due at the end of milestones. Before we moved on to a new sprint, together we would review advances and sign off whether we were happy. When there were times where refinement was needed, aTeam would work with me and would rapidly try to overcome challenges.

There was a general manager who would check in with me every few weeks on the overall process. A project manager who would speak with me on a day to day basis as well as share detailed daily updates/advances. The development team consisted of 8-10 developers and designers. aTeam shared there development chat with me so I could see what each developer was working on on a day-to-day basis and their progress.

We finally have our first working product that has already received a great response with prospective schools and partners. I credit a lot of our success to the developers and designers who ensured there were no bugs or flaws on the platform.

One of aTeam's biggest strengths are definitely their project management style. The communication was amazing! We spoke regularly through email, asana, and Skype. By the end of the project, it felt as though I developed personal relationships with the team.

The team's proactiveness and genuine interest in making the product the best it could be! During our first meeting, aTeam were already making suggestions on how I could refine the product which was amazing.

We have an extensive HR process. We used different platforms for management. But when the workload becomes huge we were force to create an in house all in one HR development tool kit. Hence we searched over the internet and contacted ATeam soft solutions for the development purpose.

We found this vendor through internet, then we made a background research on them to understand their credibility. We found them diligent and accountable. We also have couple of session with them which gave us a good feeling that they are technically sound.

The scope of the project is to combine various HR platforms together into a single portal using available API's from the respective platforms. We also needed to have a centralized database which can be used for Payroll, Employee management & benefits , attendance management, Salary management, Leave management and medical claim management.

The entire data was distributed over multiple platforms. Hence we need a 3NF database which accounts all relevant information in one place and this portal should act as single interface to pull all information instantly from various platforms without needing to log into multiple platforms.

The technologies we preferred where NodeJs in the backend and Angular13 in the frontend. The architecture must be elastic beanstalk from AWS.

There were 4 people in the team, two developers, one QA and one project manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They were able to deliver as per the expectations. I believe the initial story board building process really helped us to carve out all the grey areas. The sprints were successful and we were able to feel the application in the stage environment in the first sprint onwards.

This gave us more confidence to pursue the complex areas of the project. The sprints were tested when and demonstrated towards us before sign out.

The project management styles seems to be very unique . They uses Asana. They split the whole project into doable two weeks sprints with start date and end date. There is also QA section for each sprints in Asana.

All the bugs and issues seems to be reported by QA and assigned to devs through Asana platforms. We were able to see the project progress transparently through Asana platforms.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their communication process is so open with daily plan, midway progress and status reports. Hence even if we are in tight schedules we were able to see all the open communication going on between the teammates on the project.

I feel they are good with their process which seems very unique from different companies i have ever worked with.

2. The whole project will be divided into different milestones. Each milestone will have a release date after Quality Analysis. After QA, once the milestone is released, a demonstration will be done.
3. We are able to access the application and test it yourself to see the milestone is working as expected.
4. The code and intellectual property will be in our own accounts.
5. Once we verify and feel ourself the milestone is working as expected, we sign it off.
6. They invoice against the milestone and we pay for the same. The invoice will be raised only after the milestone is approved by us.

They were really very very quick to understand the requirements and deliver the solutions. The communication is swift. They keep us updated on completed and upcoming tasks almost daily and remind us of their needs. We’ve asked for things that weren’t included in the original project, and they’ve been willing to do them without ever complaining.

We had deadlines per feature and expected these to work when the deadline approached.

The team was quick to respond every time something was needed. We had regular Zoom meetings that were recorded. Unfortunately, despite of the recording, I couldn't see that the team reached a decent level of understanding of what was discussed.

They worked on our project for so long without admitting that they didn't understand the requirements.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The code quality is very bad. Within 5 months, the programmers and especially the project manager did not understand how the software was supposed ot be used. It would have been great if they asked more about things they didn't understand and only take projects that they know they can fulfill. Also, they charge for QA but leave bugs in the software that are impossible to miss. I would have appreciated not to be charged for services they do not provide.

I hired aTeam Soft Solutions to build a website based on a few diagrams and some ideas that I had. The goal was to create an easy-to-use social website for voters to ask questions and election candidates to answer those questions.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I posted the job on Upwork, and after receiving dozens of offers and communicating with several teams, it became clear that aTeam was the most professional of all the options and had done the most impressive and similar work in the past.

We had several meetings in the beginning to nail down the vision and design of the site so that they could create UI mockups for me to approve. Then development began. The team decided on Vue JS and Laravel as the main technologies to be used. The plan was in the form of 3 individual month-long sprints with me checking in and reviewing after the completion of each sprint. The team was very transparent about their work and went out of their way to message a list of tasks each person was working on every day to keep me in the loop. I also had access to the code repository itself and they sent a link to their development site so I could play around and test parts of the site even as it was being built.

We had four aTeam employees working on the project. There was 1 project manager, 2 developers, and one employee working on quality assurance.

The site is newly completed and hasn't been fully launched yet, but early feedback indicates that the team did a great job developing the site from beginning to end and left zero parts of the site unfinished.

The team held a stand-up meeting every morning to make sure they were all on the same page. I would then receive a message from each team member specifying their tasks for the day. I also received emails that would summarize the work completed for the whole day each day and at the end of the week a summary of the week's work. The team left no doubt that they were working hard at all times.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

There are two things I find most impressive. The first one is their ability to take an idea and a few conversations and instantly have a crystal-clear image of what you are thinking in terms of the vision for the project. I came to them with a few poor wire-frame designs and they ran with it and created something great. The second most impressive thing is their communication and transparency. Every step of development was clearly documented and communicated to me so I had no doubts about their work.

Development took a little longer than expected, but that is mostly because the requirements changed along the way. They stuck to their initial estimate and plugged away until the work was done.
