I needed to switch to new website management, and the Arete team cloned the design of my site using standard WordPress plugins and theme so that the site could be properly updated and maintained. They will manage updates and upgrades moving forward.

Deep has been a very efficient project manager. He clearly outlines the expected timelines for each upgrade of our website, and ensures consistent, transparent communication throughout the process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are fair and extremely client-satisfaction-focused. On one occasion, theretanding of our needs, and they under-quoted. When they realized the error and the true scope of our needs, they maintained their original quote, stating that the misunderstanding was on their side, not ours, and therefore honoured their original quote. You can't get better service and loyalty to their clients than what Arete Soft Labs Inc. provides!

My website was old and out of date and needed not only a new look but to be brought up to date technically.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I sourced out a number of professional companies for the job and choose Arete because they really stood as professional, efficient, honest, and with all the right skills and talents. Their price point was also excellent.

I mainly dealt with Mandeep, director of business development. I was sent a questionnaire to complete so that they could get a clear idea of the scope of the project. then I was asked to select other websites that I found interesting so that they could get a visual idea of what I wanted. From that point on it was a work in progress, starting with the landing page. Once we had finalized the landing page they then went on to do the rest of the site as they had a clear idea of what I was looking for.

I only dealt with Mandeep. He dealt with everyone else. this made it very easy and communication was always clear.

I would say I am demanding as a client as I know what I want and I am very detailed. Arete was fantastic to work with, nothing was ever too much trouble, they were always patient, polite, and eager to help. What was fantastic was that technically they really are expert so when I had an idea that I didnt' even know was possible to create, Mandeep always made it happen.

Communication was excellent and timely.

They are technically experts in their field. This is great but what was wonderful about this was that they made very complex deliverables sound easy.

They really were a delight to work with but if there is one area that could be improved it would be to have a creative lead on the project.

I needed someone to develop our website and do our SEO.

They developed our website from scratch. We requested some features, and they also suggested some good features that we included in the design. It took one month. We are using their ongoing services for digital marketing, PPC, and SEO. Specifically, they’re advertising on Google and Facebook.

Their experience helped us a lot in making the website much better. They were efficient in building the website and did an amazing job. We check how many people visit our website and how many leads and reviews we get. Anyone who reaches out on our website usually gives us a call or send us an appointment request through the website itself.

Their good project management is how they were able to finish our project within a month. They were always making sure they were working according to our requirements. They never waited until the last minute, either. As soon as the features were ready, they were asking us to test them as soon as possible. They make sure we’re satisfied and then go for the next milestone. They have many years of experience and could understand and translate the language of their customers into technical language.

Even after they delivered the website, they’ve kept in contact with us to make sure we’re still happy. They make us aware of new features and how those features could help us. They also bring us a lot of suggestions that are turning into business advantage from the marketing side. They’re an amazing team.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’m happy working with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I inquired with many other companies before I signed up with them. Arete Software was charging less, and I wondered if their quality of service wasn’t going to be as good. I was a little worried when I signed up with them, but I went with them and, after dealing with them, even if they would have charged me $500 extra I would have happily paid them.
