We wanted to upgrade our current software to a SAAS and have a more modern and appealing dashboard view for the end user that was simple and easy to understand. We needed to take all the granular data and roll it up to a more "top down" view.

Lots of research and talking with many other vendors, Altabel was the best fit for us.

For me it was the fact I have absolute no software knowledge, so being able to communicate what I would like to have, and them understanding, and producing to exceeded my exceptions every time has been so amazing. Very thankful

Honestly. No. I have been very pleased with everything they do.

I'm the founder of the Knowie, which is a SAAS that allows teams to strengthen relationships and collaboration.

For what projects/services did your company hire Altabel Group, and what were your goals?

We needed to continue to develop a MVP to make it ready for market. The goal was to improve the general quality of the code and secure future scalability. We also needed to add crucial features to be able to go to market.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Altabel was recommended to us by a member of our advisory board. The deciding factors was, price quality and flexibility. Also, we where looking for a software development company that could supplement my limited experience in software development. After several interviews with developers, we selected an experienced developer within our tech stack that also had experience in project management.

Altabel have continued the work initiated in JavaScript (Node.js and Vue.js. We have used an agile approach to develop which has been very helpful in the early stages of our company, where we continuesly learn more and have shifting priorities.

Altabel has been a perfect match for Knowie during our startup phase and will continue to be so going forward. Their big effort to understand our code, our team and digital teambuilding product quickly created a high degree of trust that allowed for early value creation. It also made it easy to match Knowie with the best suited developers that could both code and provide advice. Altabel have been pivotal for Knowies development as a startup and our high customer satisfaction, through their flexibility in scaling the provided development resources up and down, with short notice and their ability and willingness to jump in and put out urgent fires, to secure the best possible experience for our customers.

The vendor easily adapted to our agile approach and fitted right in with our project management tools such as Slack, Trello and even suggested new tools to improve flexible sharing and updating of mockups and wireframes.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As a startup we know very little about our future and our budgets are very fluid. They impress me with their understanding of our situation and finding excellent solutions for tricky situations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In the beginning of the collaboration, the project could have benifitted from challening the brief, in case of unclarities. However, this was rather quickly adressed and functions very well today.
