Converting a series of 8 different iOS tablet-focused apps to a React Native cross-platform format that adapts responsively to tablets and phones. The apps required a new GUI interface, provided to Alian. Alian applied the new GUI and made usability enhancements to it along the way as necessary. 

The apps included unique operation logic that had to be implemented and they needed to integrate with a Cloud platform for authentication and overall communications -- Alian helped with all of that as well. Alian also provided extensive cross-platform QA on all the apps.

Overall, their project management skills were adequate. For example when one of their developers fell ill - they pro-actively swapped in resources who were already familiar with the project so that helped the delivery to be on-time. We communicated on adaily basis through messaging and meet twice a week virtually and all of those meetings were joined on and time and felt very productive.

I felt they were very communicative and proactive based on the needs of the customer and the project, also wanted to say having visited them at their office in India - their internal culture felt very familial and speaking to several team members (not directly in my project) - they praised how Alian took care of them and their family members.

I think there's always room for improvement on technical skills, I felt some parts of the project could have been delivered faster had team members been a bit more open about technical direction from the customer. Also some obvious bugs could have been caught by the dev/QA team before handing off to the customer.

Since they did such good work, I decided to use Alian Software for my other freelance clients as well. In the past few months, they have developed a customized page for my jewelry client (that has exceeded my expectations) and create a press page.

I hired Alian Software through upwork.com. I was really impressed with their portfolio and knowledge of Shopify and custom CSS/HTML.

Usually when I have a new project at hand, I briefly describe to them what the scope of the job would look like. From there, depending on the project, I personally draft up a mock of what I am envisioning the page to look alike, along with a creative brief. Once they come back with a quote & it's approved, they start the job. Alian Software is very great at time management, communication (even. though I may not be at sometimes) and executing the work to my liking.

I mainly work with Devang Brahmbhatt, as he solely communicates with me on all jobs. The developers who I believe work on these projects are, Hetal Makwana and Kushboo Lad.

After helping with glitches and updating our mobile navigation recently, we are seeing a higher transactional conversion rate on mobile than before!

I'm very impressed with all the different projects I've thrown at them! Especially the crazier ones, like a stud customizer page. They are super willing to do whatever project at hand and execute it to the best of their abilities.

At first there was some communication errors - but once Devang took over as sole communicater it was smooth sailing.

We were looking to rebrand our company from our previous name to Collabful, Inc. to better resonate with the challenges that students face. Alian Software is helping us through that process.

What was the scope of their involvement? 

To support our brand revamp, Alian Software functions as our right-hand development team. They’ve just redesigned the entire frontend of our website. Now, we’re moving forward with a long-term development project. They’ll be going through the full tech stack, which includes Vue.js, Laravel, and PHP.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Alian Software is exceptional when it comes to communication, understanding, and flexibility. What I really admire about their team is that they’re there for us whenever we need them — be it for development, design, high-security measures, or even stand-up meetings. I haven’t gotten the same level of satisfaction with other off-shore companies as I’ve had with Alian Software.

How did Alian Software Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

We meet directly with both their project manager and their developer so that there’s no miscommunication. I prefer this model over the more traditional single point of contact, so I’m glad that Alian Software was willing to cater to our needs. That just goes to show you how collaborative they are. On the technical side, we use Jira to coordinate and operate using a scrum/agile development method.

What did you find most impressive about them?

As the founder, I trusted them to pull through with the design for my platform, and they delivered. In fact, their team recommended so many modern ideas that ended up enhancing my platform altogether. I don’t even know if I’d be where I am today without them because they really brought my vision to life.

No, I can’t think of anything. I hate to be cliché, but I’m very satisfied with my experience.
