Communication could have been faster at times, especially during key stages of the project. It would also help to plan ahead more to avoid last-minute changes. Overall, the team was open to feedback and worked to improve.

Founder of a social mobile startup. The company is currently just me. I'm an experienced founder having done 3 companies over +7 years and created many products both digital and physical.

Since I do not know how to code, I need this expertise in order to create the app I envisioned. AgileTech seemed like a good balance in terms of trust and cost at first glance.

The goal of the app was to find product market fit for the app.

I provided my own designs and they built the project using NodeJS and React Native. We ended up throwing away the Reach Native code for Flutter with a new Flutter lead and it's been great thus far.

1 frontend and 1 backend

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After the design and scoping was complete, we built the app within 1.5 months, and have been bug fixing for the last 2 months. What gives me the confidence is how passionate and hard-working the developers are. I'm truly impressed.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We communicate over Skype, which is effective and simple enough. I also use Lark for my product specs and bug tracking and Google Suite for everything else like expense tracking.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Most impressed with their new Flutter dev lead. They are incredible to work with and are truly passionate about technology and our concept.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Perhaps the backend developer can be more responsive and collaborative. Seems to work slower, or maybe I'm not seeing it much because he doesn't really communicate (his English isn't that good). But the frontend developer keeps a good pace.

I’m the founder of a retail company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. our company has 10 employees, and we serve clients in the entertainment industry around the United States. I oversee the day-to-day operations.

Our company mobile app was created less than a year ago, and we’re currently working on an update that will be rolled out in August. We had the first beta tests released in April and noticed that user behavior was trending toward social interactions. We didn’t have any social interactions and are currently working with Agile Tech to put out a new update.

We wanted to complete the MVP and roll it out for a closed group of users.

We a series of meetings with AgileTech to define the project’s scope, objectives, and goals. We received mock-ups and two designs and then made some changes for Android and iOS. After we approved the design, AgileTech completed the wireframe.

I had access to a project lead and five frontend developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We currently don’t have downloads, as our mobile app hasn’t launched yet. We have rolled out our MVP to a controlled group of 200 users to gather real-time data on user behavior, however. Our key measure of success right now is finding growth opportunities based on how testers are using the platform.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager and lead developer were very good with communication. Basically, we communicated daily with updates on the project. All deadlines were met.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed with the flow of the project. If anything wasn’t going to work out, there was clear communication about the issues and potential solutions.

We had no issues with AgileTech and were satisfied with the project.

What we found most impressive was AgileTech’s ability to create a clean, intuitive UI that our team adopted quickly with minimal training. Despite the complexity of logistics workflows, they made the system easy to navigate and use on a daily basis. This focus on usability really helped speed up internal adoption and improved team productivity. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something AgileTech Viet Nam could have done differently?

One area for improvement could be providing more post-launch analytics support. While the app performed well, having deeper insights and recommendations on user behavior after release would have been helpful. That said, their team was always open to feedback and willing to support when asked.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

AgileTech has collaborated to integrate real-time bus tracking analytics and strategically combine them with bus data. This was done to ensure users have an enjoyable experience on the Booking App platform. Within just four months from the project's initiation, AgileTech successfully launched a trial version of the bus booking app on both Android and iOS platforms.

Currently, the project is in its final stages, with the official release expected in November 2024.
