They have great technical skill, but they are also quite adaptable. When we suggested different ways of working with us, they were usually quick to adapt and adopt those new methods of communication, and testing, etc. Technically they demonstrated very strong depth and knowledge.

They could’ve been a bit more proactive with regards to what we were doing in other areas of development as they may have been able to place more developers that way.

The team at Agente Studio really knew how to keep things streamlined and efficient. What impressed me the most was their excellent use of various communication tools. They seamlessly incorporated Slack, email, and Zoom into our project workflow. We had designated channels on Slack for instant communication and daily updates. 

This ensured that we were always on the same page, reducing the scope for any misunderstandings or miscommunications. Email was used for more detailed conversations, milestone updates, and sharing larger files. Regular Zoom calls played a significant role in making our collaboration a success. 

These calls were not only for major updates and feedback sessions but also to brainstorm, discuss ideas, and resolve any issues that came up. It gave us a chance to connect on a more personal level with their team, making the entire process feel more human and collaborative.

The thing that really makes Agente Studio stand out is just how much they 'get' their clients. When they first started working with us, they spent a good chunk of time just understanding our company, our goals, and even our quirks. It felt like they were getting to know a friend rather than just a client. 

Then there's their creativity - it's seriously impressive. They take complex, sometimes abstract ideas and turn them into designs that are not only beautiful but incredibly intuitive. It's like they knew what we wanted before we did! And let's talk about their communication - they're real pros. 

But it's not just about their prompt responses or the way they kept us updated on every little progress. It's about the transparency and the trust they build. What were your goals for this project?

We needed a website that could present our services and strength in a professional way, matching in look and feel a portrait of our target audience and the image of our company that we were trying to bring. We were planning to have the information architecture and the layout that could allow us to run various marketing campaigns and use the website as a one-stop base for getting all the necessary information about the company and making a decision to choose our services.

Describe the project in detail.

The deliverables of the project were design mockups of our new website that our development team could further use. The design mockups needed to be accompanied by a UI kit. Agente started with a low-fidelity prototype to determine the information architecture, location of the elements, and how they are interlinked. There were a couple of versions. They continued with a graphic design concept that we used to determine how our website looks and feels in general, the fonts that we are going to use, and how various elements look. The final stage was an interactive hi-fi prototype containing all the pages and the content that Brimit team prepared beforehand.

I'm the marketing manager of HQSoftware. We’re a custom software development company serving clients worldwide, with a focus on the US and Europe.

What challenge were you trying to address with AGENTE?

We’d developed our website about seven years ago, but it was becoming outdated. We weren’t getting the Google rankings we wanted, and there weren’t too many clients coming to us through the website.

Our main goal was to improve this customer point of contact and increase leads.

What was the scope of their involvement?

AGENTE helped us develop a brand-new website from scratch. We worked through a total of six stages, beginning with business analysis. We then mapped out our requirements and moved forward with the prototyping and design stages. 

Next, we developed the UI/UX of the main pages, implementing customer journey maps in order to increase conversions. We placed feedback forms and calls-to-action in the most relevant places, considering exactly the path a potential customer would take while navigating our website.

The team also created a lot of internal pages, as the update included changing the site’s CMS from Joomla to WordPress. Creating pages on our old system was extremely time-intensive, so updating that process was a large focus for us.

We began development, paying particular attention to the creation of certain universal blocks that we could use repeatedly without needing to reconsult developers. Finally, we entered the QA stage before officially launching the site.

Throughout the project, we used a combination of scrum and waterfall methodologies.

We worked with a full-stack team from AGENTE. We had a project manager, who was our main point of contact, but we also worked directly with their designer to ensure alignment.

We were looking for an agency that had expertise in WordPress and a good reputation in UI/UX. AGENTE was able to deliver on both of those criteria, plus, being in the software development market ourselves, we were confident in their skills.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We only went live a week ago, so we haven’t had the time to see an increase in leads, which has been our ultimate goal. However, we had a very positive experience working with AGENTE. The team always delivered their work on schedule.

We’re now on technical support, and we’re very happy with AGENTE. The main project is over, but they’re still very quick in communication and in fixing technical issues. I

How did AGENTE perform from a project management standpoint?

The team was very responsive. Besides email, we chatted over Skype. We never experienced any real delays, and AGENTE informed us of everything in advance if there were any potential conflicts. The team was excellent at setting proper expectations. 

AGENTE changed our project manager mid-project, but, impressively, there were no communication gaps. We didn’t even notice the change at first. 

During the design phase, we initially didn’t agree on what the team had proposed. We opted to work directly with the designer to make corrections, which was a great experience. We discussed everything in a matter of hours, and the communication was very smooth.

What did you find most impressive about them?

AGENTE is a design-driven company, and they’re excellent at UI/UX. That’s what we were looking for, and it’s why we selected them. We’re very pleased with the results.

We really had no issues with them. I don’t think there’s anything they could do better.

They have very good managers on their side, but, as the customer, make sure to be prepared with enough information to communicate exactly what you want.

I’m the chief strategist at Aggregion. We’re developing a media software platform for licensing of any type of data between business participants and consumers.

What challenge were you trying to address with AGENTE?

We needed a company to build a platform from scratch for the largest retail chain in Russia. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The goal of the project was to build a platform to enable them to sell their first-party data—specifically, customer purchases. If brands or media agencies want to advertise their own brands on Facebook or Google, they need to narrow their target audience. Our platform enables them to take the data from our platform and use the purchases to find the correct users on those platforms.

AGENTE did the UX/UI for the platform, while our team built the backend. As the acting project manager, I collected the requirements from the client or negotiated what the requirements should be. After I described what the business process was, the designers from AGENTE made a mockup and then built the UX/UI.

It was challenging because the project started before either us or the client had detailed ideas of how the platform was supposed to look and work. It wasn’t a straightforward process; there was a lot of backtracking, redoing work, and adding and removing features. A lot of discovery and exploration took place in the process.

We had two designers and the project manager from their side. There was also a frontend developer that helped for a few weeks. In addition to AGENTE’s team, we had the product managers and requirements from the client's side as well as our own product team that I led.

How did you come to work with AGENTE?

They had done a good job on our website in the past, so I felt I could trust them with the design. I didn’t feel a freelancer or someone in the open market would be able to do this. We had a very short timeline to develop the platform from scratch and needed professional competence. AGENTE fit the bill.

I interfaced mostly with the designers and I mostly managed the project. When I did interact with their project manager, it was very professional. We used Skype.

What did you find most impressive about them?

AGENTE caught onto the processes very quickly and started to give results faster than we expected. I expected that they’d spend a couple of weeks in a discovery phase to understand what’s going on. Instead, almost from the first day, they started giving me parts of the mockups and ideas. That was good considering our timeframe.

No, I’m happy with the way it went. They gave us a team almost immediately and could provide us additional resources quickly when we needed them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We just launched the redesign a month-and-a-half ago, so we’re still measuring the success. However, we’re very happy with the new design we received. For existing users, the design change has some pain points. We’ll see metrics in the next 2–3 months.

How did AGENTE perform from a project management standpoint?

In the beginning, we communicated twice a week; toward the middle and end, we communicated daily. The project manager on my side called AGENTE each day, and they collaborated on the tasks. A lot of the management work was on our side. 

AGENTE communicated very well. I integrated them into our team and introduced them to each of our developers. We met for one week at our office, which was better than just sending messages to each other.

What did you find most impressive about them?

AGENTE had the experience we needed. They understood what I explained to them, and they brought ideas to the table as well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They had a good service approach, but sometimes they maintained their approach when it probably wasn't necessary. Although I understand why they used a service approach, as they work in distributed teams, it’s occasionally better to collaborate much deeper with the customer. When I told them that I wanted them to come to our office for this project, our collaboration and communication improved. They should change the communication style based on each customer, rather than using the same approach with every company.

AGENTE built the UX/UI design for our different systems, all from scratch. Some of the work involved replacing old software, but for the most part, it meant building a smoother and modern experience. For the UX component, we gave them a rough draft of specific wireframes, which they based their work off of.

The team at AGENTE was phenomenal. They are excellent at managing projects and making sure that everything is completed. We used Figma as our collaboration and communication tool. We also used email and Skype as needed.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were willing to work with us, even if it meant changing their processes to match ours.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. During big projects, there are always going to be adjustments, but it was great.

Have a clear vision and provide information going into the project. This helps them have a picture of what they need.

I’m the founder of Karma Development OÜ, a peer-to-peer SME leading platform that uses blockchain.

What challenge were you trying to address with AGENTE?

In 2017, we hired AGENTE to build a website for our ICO. Our challenge was to have a modern and clean platform delivered quickly.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

At that time, we had one of the few legal ICOs. We had a lot of legal reviews from different lawyers from countries all over the world. It was compliant with all of the countries where our investors were located.

There were two tasks. First was the ICO website that would involve investors and track the progress of a token sale. The second involved designing an alpha version of the platform itself. It would function as a peer-to-peer cross-border lending for small businesses. Our team put together fast sketches that described the information architecture and prototype. Once we were both in agreement about the prototypes, AGENTE completed the visual design, which we tweaked.

After the mockups were ready, their team began development using HTML and JavaScript. They also integrated the frontend of the peer-to-peer platform to the API on our backend.

We worked with around four people. There was a product manager, account manager, designer, and frontend developer.

In 2013, their founder was a student in my special business course for CEOs of digital agencies.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

AGENTE accomplished all of our goals. Since the ICO was completed, the website is closed. The platform itself is continually evolving. Once we had enough personnel in-house, we shifted the development of the interfaces internally. We work in sprints of two weeks, updating the peer-to-peer platform regularly. We have kept the general style AGENTE designed.

How did AGENTE perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management style could improve. I was the CEO of a digital agency, so I know how difficult having a good project management team can be. There’s a lot to focus on, depending on the amount of current and previous projects. Considering this is a common issue for digital agencies, they perform well. We communicated 24/7.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team is full of styling experts. They can take a minimalistic view and make it look contemporary. Their work has global appeal.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their product involvement could improve. When I speak to Andrei (CEO, AGENTE), I tell him to start his own product within the startup because they have enough resources.

AGENTE has worked on numerous projects, but we originally hired them to revamp our website. We wanted a new UX/UI and brand as well as some one-off design work.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

AGENTE completely redesigned our website, developing the new UX/UI from scratch. They had us fill out a comprehensive questionnaire to figure out what we wanted and what the overall branding approach would be, such as fonts, colors, and imagery. I also pointed out a few websites I liked and what design aspects I wanted them to incorporate. From there, they initially worked in HTML because we weren’t sure how we wanted to deploy it but did later work in WordPress. We continue to partner with them on small design projects.
