Acquaint built the presentation layer as a set of static HTML views with vanilla JavaScript controllers, intentionally avoiding heavy framework dependencies that our non-engineering staff could not maintain internally. The views cover archive search, document preview, text summary display, and an admin panel for parameter management. The interface was wired to communicate with our backend endpoints over standard HTTPS requests, with session handling routed through our existing institutional authentication. Custom backend text data parsing modules. This is the densest portion of the engagement. Acquaint wrote parsing routines in Python that ingest our scanned document outputs, which had already been run through optical character recognition in a prior internal pass, and break the recognized text into structured fields.
