While the overall experience was highly positive, one area for potential enhancement could be an increased focus on continuous improvement. Needed to properly reconcile various Bank, Credit Card, & Merchant accounts prior to year. The reconciliations were needed for tax return completion. Upon completion, Acgile was relied upon to provide guidance on best accounting practices.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our company is continuing to follow best accounting practices and have been able to create efficiencies across the finance and accounting department. Financial performance can now be measured more accurately and decision making based on metrics is all made possible, all thanks to Acgile's ability to get us on the right track.

Everything was delivered on time. Communication was provided in case of delays which were tolerable and not severely delayed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Acgile genuine interest in our business performance. Most 3rd party accounting companies are out to make a quick dollar while servicing an exorbitant amount of clients. Acgile's work was truly exceptional and above my expectations given other negative experiences with 3rd party accounting/finance teams.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Acgile could have done differently?

No negative feedback or improvement topics. It would be great to meet the team more often but in our day and age of remote work/globalization, it is not imperative. A wish more than an improvement~

This has evolved from strictly accounting to:

1. Customer Support Team-handle all messages on all eCommerce Platforms. Ensure all metrics for all platforms are met and arbitrage any at-risk scenarios.  
2. Accounting Team-Cash Estimates, vendor payments, reconciliations, application for credit, audit of vendors and returns.
3. Data Team-Create, maintain and review all price files.  Manage all connections between our server and scripts, the order management software, the platforms, and the warehouses.  Troubleshoot all errors and create safeguards.  Analyze all warehouses, existing and new, to determine potential onboarding, pricing strategies, and duplication on other platforms.  General maintenance and improvement of all connections. 
4. Listing Team- Create and upload new listings

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Acgile came on board when we were losing money and showing a large deficit for 2020-2021.  Through poor supervision, lack of adequate reporting, and a merger with our brick-and-mortar, books were messy and intertwined.  Acgile slowly and methodically improved our situation month by month, creating measurable reporting and analytics that helped us make informed decisions.  
We are proud to report that with huge thanks to Acgile,  we broke even in 2022 were profitable in 2023, and have continued to observe increased profits in 2024!
