I’m the head of digital experience at a tourist-centric consulting and execution company based in Saudi Arabia. We provide consulting, recommendations, and strategies that fall under digital experience technology, including websites, products, and digital solutions.

We handle digital experience solutions and products, including websites, apps, and assessments. We needed a development partner for our digital products, including websites and applications.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Fingent has worked closely with us on product development, particularly on a couple of website and application development projects. We usually develop or design the UX/UI, and Fingent helps us with the development, testing, QA, and deployment. We’re currently working with them on maintenance and service-level agreements.

Fingent has also provided consulting services, suggesting features and strategies we should consider. The websites have been built from scratch on WordPress. We have two real estate websites: one for the holding company and another for the destination.

On the second site, the main challenge has been to build an immersive experience. We’ve tried to embed an experience where users can zoom in and out and go into different doors. Although we don't have a 3D AR/VR experience, we want users to feel like they’re in the property itself.

We worked with Fingent before on an application. Our company recommended them to the client. I don’t know how our company found Fingent, but they were working with them, so I took over and continued the relationship.

Our company chose them because Fingent’s portfolio is good and oriented toward real estate. Back then, we had the application for tenants, so we wanted a development agency familiar with real estate and tenants. Fingent’s portfolio was more about real estate; they have different branches and have worked in the US, so we picked them.

We’ve spent less than $15,000 on one of our projects.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in November 2021, and our relationship is ongoing. For example, we collaborated on that first project until 2022, and then we worked together again in 2023. The current project started in September 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The client loves the website. Fingent is very helpful, supportive, and educational. They educate us on why things happen and are ready to go with us step by step. They’re open to any discussion, which makes them very patient. 

How did Fingent perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very proactive, fast, and responsive. They meet deadlines and stay on budget. They even work on weekends. We use OpenProject for project management. We communicate via email, Zoom, or WhatsApp, depending on the urgency of the situation.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Fingent is a good analyst. They question us strategically and think with us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could hire more people to be more tech-oriented and not focus on one aspect of a technology stack.

They created an app designed across multiple platforms , that included Applied Behavior Analysis methodologies within the design.

They created a portal for professionals to use so that they can design specific programs for their clients.  Within the portal, the professional is able to design every single aspect of the program from how many items are in the array to the voices that accompany the item to mastery criteria.  This development is intricate and fully customizable to meet the needs of each individual served.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Deadlines:  Fingent were diligent about meeting their deadlines.  They would follow after me for things that they needed in effort to meet their deadline.  

Bringing my dream to a reality:  Fingent and their team listened to what I wanted and gave it to me.  At the outset, I had a hard time figuring out exactly how I wanted it to look and how intricate I wanted the project.  They were patient and insightful and guided me through.  The design is more than I wished for

A product that works:  Fingent and their team took my ideas and put them into being.  This app now is used by my own clients and others all across the USA.  My product is even being used in a study.

Their project management was exceptional.  They were focused on delivering.  They would keep me in the timeline (I can be terrible about meeting deadlines--even my own--and they would kindly remind me about what they needed in order to keep deadlines).  The team was great with communication, would meet any time I needed, would resolve my issues right away.  
The team also was so kind and caring to me.  They became like friends where I felt connected to them and felt as if they cared about me.  They were also highly skilled and professional.  They knew how to do the job and somehow figured out how to make my dream a reality, even though I couldn't figure that out.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Fingent is honest.  They don't slip in extra expenses.  They don't lie about the amount of time it takes to do something.  They are very reasonable in their pricing.  They also are kind and patient. They care about the people that they work with and even when people were promoted and no longer on the project, they would stay connected to the project for as long as necessary to ensure a smooth transition.  
I guess the most impressive thing about Fingent as that they are trustworthy.  I could trust what they say and what they were doing, and that has never changed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Fingent could have done differently?

I do not have any areas for improvement, honestly, as they delivered above my expectations.

I needed help with the development of a mobile application.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Fingent helped me with the design of mock-up screens and the architectural development layout. Fingent and I discussed the scope and price, and exchanged non-disclosure agreements. We had a little back and forth, and then we had an analysis phase to sort of map out what I wanted. Fingent gave me a quote and timeline.

The team also told me what needs connections to what, what API integrations we would use, and how everything could be connected to get the result I wanted.

What is the team composition?

I was in constant communication with three primary people, but I worked with a UX designer, a project manager, a scope of work manager, and a person who did some of the legal work. There were also 2–3 other teammates working on research and integration stuff.

How did you come to work with Fingent?

I found them through a Google search. I looked up a few options, and Fingent was listed a few different times as a good option. I contacted several companies, and Fingent was the first to communicate. We set up a call, and they walked me through what they could offer.

The project cost $12,500.

We worked together from July to September 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Fingent helped me visualize what the app could become. We did a lot of groundwork. We don't have an MVP yet, but the team offered an idea of the build cost, and I have mock-up screens for a demo. Fingent's work met my expectations.

How did Fingent perform from a project management standpoint?

Fingent was a pleasure to work with. They communicated clearly and were very organized. The team was also responsive and flexible with what we focused on. We used OpenProject for project management and Zoom and email for communication. Fingent also used Figma to create and annotate the mock-ups.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Fingent seemed genuinely invested in helping me figure out what I needed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there weren't any. I'm new at this, but Fingent did a good job. I wasn't sure to move forward because of my lack of experience, but the team was upfront and helpful.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear about what you want to include in the scope. Fingent's structure is that you pay by timeline, not by scope. Some people don't like to do that, and I was hesitant because sometimes the scope of work can go longer and cost more. However, for this analysis phase, it was a good idea.

Additionally, be clear about how you want to communicate and exchange information. We were clear about how often I should get back to the team and how quickly Fingent should respond, and it went well.

In addition, Fingent took full responsibility for coding the final applications and provided excellent support during the deployment phase.

The collaboration with Fingent delivered clear, measurable results. We successfully launched several high-quality mobile apps for our financial products, all of which were approved by both the App Store and Google Play on the first submission. This significantly reduced our deployment and release timelines. Fingent’s structured project management and business analysis approach helped us streamline development, improve code quality, and minimise post-launch issues. The apps have performed reliably and received very positive feedback regarding performance and usability.

 We are still engaged with Fingent and work with them daily. Currently, they are the largest team of programmers working on our platform. There were times where we thought we could build everything in-house, but we have never left Fingent. Now, they are our programming team.

Over the years, Fingent has grew into an active and even a leading role in our development and maintenance of the Replika platform. They are a trusted partner, and some of them feel like family.

In what ways can they improve?

As a non programmer, I would always want things done faster and timelines shorter. However, I have come to appreciate the level of detail in their planning, execution, testing and ultimately "go live" process.

 What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?

Always have programming expertise in house so you can utilize the talents of an trusted outside company. Be fair with them and set expectations & timelines together. We're a nonprofit organization that services immigrants and refugees in the US. Our biggest goal is to ensure that immigrants from all locations, regardless of legality, can lead a more dignified life in the US.

I am the program manager for the unaccompanied children's resource center. Unaccompanied children are children who come into the US without a legal guardian. They're apprehended by Border Patrol and handed over to a refugee resettlement shelter within 72 hours. At that point, those youth are in the shelter and given access to medical care, education, and whatever they need. They're also trying to find a sponsor to care for the US youth.

The idea is to find a sponsor to take care of the youth in the US and to be able to release those youth to a sponsor who's going to take care of them until they have their court date to decide whether or not they're allowed to get legal relief in the US or whether they have to go back to their home country.

Our organization runs a website called the unaccompanied children's resource center. It contains resources for youth, their sponsors, and providers who work with them. The goal is to provide guidance on best practices for accessing education, healthcare, legal information, and several other topics. I maintain the website and coordinate with others to ensure we provide these resources to families and providers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Fingent?

Part of the UC Resource Center website is a community resource directory that we started last year. It’s a directory of resources across the US. We’re trying to identify resources in every county that are low-cost or free for youth and sponsors to access for help. Our organization has caseworkers who work with these families and create resource lists of helpful resources in their communities. Each caseworker originally did this independently, so we decided we wanted to centralize this.  We had a template of our existing website that was slow and had a lot of issues.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Fingent designed and developed our website. They created a directory website compatible with mobile devices. We provided our template to understand the functionality we were looking for, and they built it based on what we told them we were looking for. They created mock-ups to show us what was possible regarding revamping the directory. They put together a blueprint for it. They used PHP, AngularJS, and JavaScript.

We were negotiating maintenance, but it would’ve been an additional cost. Hosting was on us. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish the project, so we had to walk away about halfway through because we didn't have the funds from the federal government.

What is the team composition?

We worked with Stephen, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing; Ravi, VP of Business Development, Sales, and Marketing; Meera, Business Analyst; Kiran, Associate Project Manager; and Bimal, Project Coordinator and Analyst.

How did you come to work with Fingent?

We found them through a Google search. My web developer provided a list of possible vendors, and Fingent was on that list. The biggest reason to go with them is their outstanding communication. They seemed on point, and there weren't any issues in terms of actually getting it done.

We worked together from November 2024–February 2025.

We don’t have any metrics because we couldn’t complete the project. 

How did Fingent perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was 10/10. We used OpenProject to maintain the project. We had two weekly working meetings through Zoom and used email in between. They were completely outstanding in every aspect, including communication and even cost. They helped to ensure that it was affordable for us.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to give a shout-out to three teammates: Meera was outstanding in communicating with us during our meetings. Kiran and Stephen were excellent at explaining the project to us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their resourcefulness was impressive. They did an outstanding job taking our requests as a nonprofit with a limited budget and finding ways to make them work. They sent proposals to us saying we could try this, and it would be cheaper. Overall, their project management and professionalism were outstanding.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have anything for them to improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s important to have a vision for what you’re looking for and share it with them upfront; even if it's absurd or crazy, they will try to find a way to make it work. Don’t limit your dreams when you’re trying to create something with them as a partner.

We wanted to make our training content for all our employees more interactive and easier to understand. We tried to avoid going through many presentations, slides, or text, wanting to make the training content simpler, interactive, and more convenient.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Fingent helped us develop an interactive training module. We started with a presentation during the discovery phase, and they understood the various training requirements. Fingent also understood the kind of training content we had at the moment.

The team moved on to the planning stage and understood the prerequisites, the kind of content we wanted, the kind of animation we wanted, and the templates. We also checked compatibility.

They went into the development phase, and we checked the language, speed, dictation, and the kind of communication we wanted because of the interactivity of the sessions and the videos. Then, they went into the testing, pre-testing, production, and assessment phases.

We worked with a project manager and a business representative, and there were about 10 individuals behind the scenes.

We went out in the market, and Fingent provided us with a good interactive method for completing the training.

The acceptance of the content that Fingent developed is a testimony that the output was fantastic. It was a creative project, and there was no precedence to it. It was a qualitative measure. They were able to meet our expectations.

They used several project management tools. Although we had some challenges, the project was completed within the timeline. We communicated through all modes.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to give a shout-out to Martin and Harikrishna. They were great.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were very cooperative, understood our issues and what we wanted, were clear-headed, and put in relentless effort to ensure they always met our expectations.

We came up with real-world challenges and ideas. Articulating them into a package or a video was a huge task. Fingent was collaborative. Overall, they were a fantastic team.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had clarity at the beginning, but it got disturbed in between. There was always a scope for improvement, and when the improvement kicked in, it went all around the park. They could have organized it a little better.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Clearly set out your objectives with them. Ensure you're clear about the why, the requirements, and the planning stage. Stick to the timelines.

We also have a kids-specific program called Superbook to teach children about the Bible using storytelling and different animations.

I work as a project manager within the organization, focusing on the IT side of our show Superbook, so I specifically oversee Superbook's website and app development.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Fingent?

We have a good IT team in-house. However, we didn't have the expertise for app development when we started looking into the Superbook app development project. Therefore, we decided to look for external resources who could help us out.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Many years ago, Fingent helped us develop our first app for Superbook, an iOS and Android MVP app. About one or two years ago, this app became somewhat obsolete. Thus, we've been working with Fingent again to complete our full iOS and Android app. We've also asked them to build our website for Superbook. The technology stack used has included React and Drupal.

For these projects, the design is done by us. However, Fingent has demonstrated a very heavy hand in guiding us through industry standards and recommending best practices, ultimately helping our designers think more holistically and better about end users.

What is the team composition?

Fingent has a very large team that keeps evolving. At any given time, we work with 20–25 teammates, including React developers, Drupal developers, microservices engineers, project managers, architects, and numerous QA testers.

How did you come to work with Fingent?

When we were looking for external resources, we came across Fingent. However, this happened before I joined the organization, so I'm not sure how it happened.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since March 2009. Ours has been a long-standing partnership.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We don't have any service providers other than Fingent working on our Superbook app. Thanks to them and the support they've given us, our app is one of the top Christian Bible apps in the App Store. Currently, we have about 1.5 million active users, which is a great number for us.

How did Fingent perform from a project management standpoint?

All of our web and mobile app development projects are agile and scrum projects, so deliverables are decided beforehand. We get deliverables from Fingent at the end of every sprint cycle. We also keep getting regular build test tools with the new features promised during the sprint. Therefore, Fingent is meeting the sprint goals over and over again, allowing us to stand out in front of our user base.

Fingent has great project managers internally who work well not only during our collaboration or our meetings because it's clear that their teams are always aligned. There's always a clear understanding of what they'll deliver, and they also communicate clearly.

We have transparent and free communication with the developers and resources, which is great. There's no waiting time, and everyone gets to see the conversation, so nothing happens behind the doors. All that has been very good for us. We use Zoom and Jira to collaborate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Fingent has been an amazing team, and the support we've received from them has been outstanding. They're all invested in our success. Working with external teams can always be tricky. However, Fingent's work culture and resource onboarding processes are excellent. We're in Virginia Beach, and they're in India. Still, they're always available. I've never experienced a long response time despite the time difference, which is commendable.

We've worked with other service providers on other mobile apps that aren't under my supervision. Some of the things that make Fingent stand out are their dependability and expertise. Fingent delivers what they promise, indicating excellent consistency.

We started working together on one project, and our engagement has led to other projects. One of these projects has been the web development one, which has been very big. Given that our organization has seen their expertise, we're now considering Fingent for other projects.

Overall, they've been very encouraging, and we've learned a lot from them. I'm sure that they've also learned from us; it's a mutual relationship.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything Fingent could improve on. We let them know about any issues we have, and they address them immediately.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Ensure transparent communication and provide them with clear requirements from the beginning. Clear requirements will give them the freedom to do their best based on your needs.
