BACKGROUND

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with 7Span?

We needed help with web app design and development for our end customers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

7Span designed and developed a financial web app for a client and multiple websites for different customers. Their team was responsible for understanding the project requirements, creating clean and professional UI/UX designs, developing the web app, building responsive website layouts, and supporting the overall implementation from design through delivery. 7Span also ensured the final output was user-friendly, visually polished, and aligned with the client’s business needs. The financial web app focused on investment management and client relationship workflows. The app included a full CRM component to manage client information, investment-related records, communication history, and ongoing client interactions.7Span also developed functionality for tracking client transactions, managing investment-related data, and generating monthly and yearly client statements. A key part of the work included automation around these statements and related workflows, which helped reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 2–5 teammates from 7Span.

How did you come to work with 7Span?

We found 7Span through a reference. We chose them over other options because they had high ratings, their pricing fit our budget, their company values aligned with ours, and they were one of the best companies to work with for all our development projects.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with 7Span from February–December 2025.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

7Span’s work helped us improve workflow efficiency, client data organization, and reduce manual work. The team moved important client management, investment records, transaction tracking, and statement-related processes into a structured digital platform. This made it easier to manage client information, review transaction history, and access monthly or yearly statement data in one place. One of the biggest improvements was automation around client statements and reporting workflows. This reduced the need for manual preparation, helped improve accuracy, and saved time for internal teams. The CRM functionality also improved visibility into client records and made ongoing client management more organized. We estimate that the team saved roughly 60%–70% of the time previously spent on recurring reporting and client management tasks. Before the system, tasks like managing client records, reviewing transaction details, preparing monthly or yearly statements, and coordinating investment-related information involved more manual work and back-and-forth. After 7Span implemented the CRM, transaction management, and automated statement workflows, much of that information became easier to access, manage, and generate from one centralized platform. For the website design and development projects, the measurable success was reflected in more professional, responsive, and user-friendly websites. Their work helped improve the overall digital presence for the clients we supported and gave us reliable delivery support across multiple projects.Overall, the project showed success through better operational efficiency, improved client data management, reduced manual effort, cleaner reporting workflows, and stronger digital experiences for our clients.

How did 7Span perform from a project management standpoint?

7Span’s project management was very professional and well-organized. They were clear in their communication, understood the requirements properly, and kept the project moving in the right direction. They delivered the work on time based on the agreed project scope and priorities. For more complex parts of the financial application, they managed the work in a structured way and helped us move through design, development, testing, and delivery without major delays. We communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed with 7Span’s ability to understand both the technical requirements and the business purpose behind the project. For the financial web app, they didn’t just focus on development tasks. They took the time to understand how the CRM, client transaction tracking, investment-related data, and monthly/yearly statement automation needed to support real business workflows. That made a big difference in the final outcome.Their flexibility was also impressive. As the project evolved, they were able to adjust, provide practical solutions, and keep the work moving without losing focus on quality or timelines.Another unique strength was their ability to handle both complex application development and professional website design/development work. This made them a reliable partner across multiple types of projects, from custom financial application features to clean, responsive websites.Overall, their combination of technical skill, business understanding, communication, and flexibility stood out the most.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We were very happy with 7Span’s work and the final outcome. There was nothing major that negatively impacted the project. If anything could have been done differently, it would be having even more detailed documentation from the client and us during some of the more complex phases of the financial application. In fact, 7Span helped resolve many mistakes, gave new ideas, and restructured historical mistakes from the client.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

7Span delivered a strong result, managed the project professionally, and remained a reliable development partner throughout the engagement.

We needed help designing and developing our AI-guided wellness marketplace.

7Span has handled the end-to-end development of our platform, including custom software development, AI integration, UI/UX design, and backend system integration. The team has developed the AI-guided marketplace and recommendation platform, AI chat and recommendation functionality for nutrition products and fitness services, UI/UX design and user journey optimization, integration with our Odoo ERP and e-commerce systems, user account and onboarding functionality, product and service synchronization between systems, mobile-responsive frontend development, and ongoing improvements, testing, and deployment support.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with 7Span’s project manager and development team.

How did you come to work with 7Span?

7Span was referred to me. I chose them because they offered good value for the cost, and their company values aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October 2025 to April 2026.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

One of the key achievements of the project has been the successful development and launch of our AI-guided marketplace platform. Working together with 7Span, we’ve refined the platform architecture and AI recommendation logic to support different user journeys and recommendation behaviors across the platform.

Another major success has been the evolution of the AI recommendation engine itself. 7Span has helped us implement intelligent tool-calling and dynamic response logic, allowing the AI system to adapt recommendations in real time based on user interactions and goals.

In addition, the successful integration between the frontend platform, AI systems, e-commerce functionality, and our Odoo ERP infrastructure has created a scalable foundation for future growth and new AI-driven services.

Moreover, we’ve received positive feedback regarding the user experience and the personalization of the AI recommendations. Early users have consistently commented that the platform feels innovative, intuitive, and more interactive than a traditional e-commerce experience.

How did 7Span perform from a project management standpoint?

7Span’s project management has been organized, responsive, and highly collaborative throughout the development process. Communication has been consistent, and the team has remained flexible as the project evolves and new ideas and refinements are introduced during development.

As with many innovative AI-driven projects, some timelines have evolved alongside the expanding scope and continuous optimization of the platform. However, the team has remained committed, proactive, and solution-oriented, consistently delivering progress and adapting quickly to feedback and changing requirements.

We especially appreciate their willingness to iterate, improve the recommendation logic, and work closely with us to refine both the technical architecture and overall user experience.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What impressed us about working with 7Span is their technical development skills and willingness to collaborate and refine ideas throughout the project. Rather than simply executing tasks, they actively contribute to improving the platform architecture, AI recommendation logic, and overall user experience.

We also appreciate how adaptable the team is during the development of a highly innovative AI-driven platform. Their openness to iteration, problem-solving mindset, and ability to integrate complex systems such as AI workflows, e-commerce functionality, and Odoo ERP integration have helped us turn a complex concept into a functioning and scalable platform.

Are there any areas they could improve?

As with most complex and innovative software projects, there have been moments where timelines and scope have evolved as new ideas, refinements, and technical challenges have emerged during development. In some cases, more detailed upfront planning around certain workflows and integrations could potentially have reduced some iteration later in the process.

That said, 7Span has remained responsive, collaborative, and committed to continuously improving the platform. Their flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing requirements have ultimately been a major strength throughout the project.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We needed a platform that could manage the complete lifecycle of a project, starting from job creation to artist bidding, collaboration, feedback, approvals, and final payments. 7Span built a system that supports secure communication, milestone-based payments, and transparent workflows. The platform allows clients to post jobs, artists to submit proposals, and admins to manage the entire ecosystem. They also implemented features like asset reviews, annotation tools, moderated chats, and global tax compliance, making the platform scalable and ready for international users.
