Please describe your company and your position there.

I was in the position of head of marketing for a mid-sized compliance consultancy that provided services to firms that offered financial services. Clients varied in size from start-ups to large well recognised brands.

For what projects/services did your company hire 7dots, and what were your goals?

We had ambitious growth targets which required us to vastly increase new business revenue. This required a huge increase in our inbound lead generation and making sure those new leads were of the right quality. We were using a specialist PPC agency but not getting the resuilts we required and could see that our website needed improvement. We needed a forward thinking digital marketing agency that would help us put the right foundations in place and then work with us to help us set and continually review our strategy and plans and be able to support the implementation in specialist areas.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We wanted a vendor that offered a broad range of services and expertise. It was important they could help us with the strategy, develop a strong online brand identity and presence, and be able to support data analytics and implement an effective search marketing strategy covering Google, Bing and social channels. Most of all we wanted an agency that were good to work with, would be proactive and bring ideas to help continually improve our marketing and were effective teamworkers and collaborators. They needed to feel like they were part of our team from the moment we engaged with them.

Developed our online brand identify and guidelines Built a new website Integrated the website with Pardot/Salesforce Developed and implemented a more effective PPC strategy, with monthly meetings which continually improved results Expanded our advertising into LinkedIn Used database analytics to help coordinate LinkedIn and e-mail marketing Worked with us to make sure numerous campaigns were successful and coordinated across different channels That has included website enhancements that improve customer experience.

We've worked with numerous people at 7Dots including CEO, Head of Project Management, Strategy Director, Client Experience Director,. our Account Director, Demand Generation Director, Demand Generation executives including Data Scientists and support staff. They work smartly as a team and are very approachable and reliable

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They helped us double our lead generation within 6 months. In that time we were able to reduce our advertising spend by one third as they improved the effectiveness of what we were doing. They've helped extend our marketing capabilities and continually refined and improved what we do.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They are very knowledgeable and approachable and very reliable. What really makes them stand out is a healthy obsession to achieve agreed objectives and timelines and practical approach to developing solutions. They really are great to deal with, and I can't speak highly of them enough.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The people - from the top to the most junior -- and how they focus on creating a unique client experience. How make sure they deliver great results And if something does go slight awry then they always make sure they get things back on track.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I honestly cannot think of one thing.
