I’m a marketing specialist for a manufacturing company. We sell coffee makers and other home appliances to external customers.

What challenge were you trying to address with 4e Agency?

We wanted to improve our website. It was quite old, and it was very important for us to have a modern site. We were using the site to find new customers, and we published a lot of articles on it. We also wanted to create a corporate video for the site.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

4e Agency developed an informational site for us. They’ve also worked on creative material for us, including roll-ups for fairs, calendars, and catalogs. We also assign them small design tasks like business cards and calendars.

They produced our corporate video, giving it a lot of energy and the right music, so that it would catch potential customer’s attention. We wanted to paint a good picture of our company and communicate what was important to us.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with the same people on multiple projects. For the video task, we worked with five people, two of whom were in charge of images, and one who was responsible for content. We’re also in contact with the principal of the agency.

How did you come to work with 4e Agency?

I’d worked with them before, while I was at another agency. The collaborations had all been good and there were no communication or deadline problems. Their agency is quite well-known in our area.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since 2016. We’re currently preparing a small roll-up for a fair.

The best feedback are the opinions of our customers, and they’ve liked our website and video.

How did 4e Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve always been very open, available, and willing to hear our needs. They’re quite nice people, but they’re also experienced and professional. We’ve always had direct communication in person or via telephone, and we’ve met each other, since we’re based in the same city.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve appreciated our communication with them. They’re open, have lots of ideas, and they’ve always helped us when we didn’t have a clue about an issue. It’s not very common to have this level of communication and understanding with a partner.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Everything has gone well. They’ve always sped up their work when we were in a rush.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

It’s always good to communicate needs and timelines clearly so that both sides know what they have to do.

I’m the marketing manager of Ultima Displays. We’re a distributor of display solutions and modular exhibition stands.

What challenge were you trying to address with 4e Agency?

We wanted to demonstrate to clients how our modular stands work in the form of an animated movie.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We sent them a brief along with images and they sent back a proposal, after which they started working on the video. The first video 4e Agency made for us was for our modular stands. They also produced one that describes how Formulate range—a type of display unit—works. Additionally, they created versions of the first video in German and other languages two years after it was released, using the translations we provided.

They also produced unbranded versions of the videos, without logos and other elements.

What is the team composition?

We were in contact with a single person.

How did you come to work with 4e Agency?

We’re a European group, so we decided to search within the continent, focusing on Poland because of cost motives. My predecessor found the top three agencies in Poland online and reviewed their previous work on YouTube. She watched a few of 4e’s videos and found them to be very good.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent 600 PLN ($168 USD) for the translation to German for the first video. This also included the versions with and without logos. I don’t remember how much we spent on the initial production.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with 4e Agency between 2015–2016.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The fact that our clients have asked us to create versions of the videos in their own languages to show to their own clients speaks to 4e’s quality. Aside from the German one, they’ve also created Polish and Italian versions of the first video. Since we’re only B2B, our clients can simply take this video and show it to their own. We can also provide our unbranded versions.

How did 4e Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly communicated via email and phone. Their contact was very patient and stayed in touch with our U.K. team. We were going through a lot of changes at the time and had to ask him a lot of questions. I know for a fact that our previous marketing manager was happy to work with him. She said some really good things, including that he was punctual and that he answered every question, even if he had to it twice.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They stand out in terms of client contact. Though we didn’t meet in person, they were very engaged with us and asked additional questions, making sure they understood our needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s always something to improve, but for now, they are good at what they do. Any improvement points are internal matters for 4e Agency.

I’m a sales representative for a transportation and freight company. We serve customers across Europe and our service focus on road transport. My role entails automating our system’s package measurement calculations and spearheading our marketing efforts.

What challenge were you trying to address with 4e Agency?

We needed to hire an agency for support with web development, print and graphic design, and publicity. These materials are necessary for event promotion, internal needs, and advertising outreach.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

4e Agency designed and developed our company’s main website and keep it consistently updated. Other digital assets they produce are animated movies for our seasonal promotions, including Christmas, Easter, and the summer holiday. When one of our representatives attends an event or conference, they manage the corresponding PR. For internal use, they designed personalized business cards and parking passes for our marketing and sales teams. They also create the headings for our calendars.

Unique print assets like bumper stickers work well as both a client giveaway and free advertising. Notably, they designed informational maps for our sales representatives to give potential and new customers. Outdoor signage deliverables include customized flags to hang outside our brick-and-mortar locations and wall installations for our biennial fair in Antwerp.

I’ve worked directly with one resource from 4e Agency.

How did you come to work with 4e Agency?

Our owner’s son had worked with them in the past and provided a strong recommendation. Based on this reference, I didn’t consider searching for alternative marketing agencies.

How much have you invested with them?

The cost of 4e Agency’s work for the past two and half years has totaled about €50,000 ($59,888 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with 4e Agency since early 2017. They’re currently updating and modifying our website among numerous other tasks.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

4e Agency’s intuitive grasp on our company’s mission and brand guidelines makes our partnership seamless. Our internal style is very important to us. Every item they create has the exact same color and design. These assets perfectly adhere to our ideal image.

We appreciate how well they’ve internalized our corporate identity. It’s convenient that we can trust them to produce the exact type of design assets we need. In fact, we no longer have to explain our requests in detail anymore.

How did 4e Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

4e Agency sticks to our deadlines and always delivers projects on time. We collaborate over email, talk on the phone, and send large files via WeTransfer. Usually, I send my point of contact visual examples to base his work on. Providing graphics and templates seems to work better than trying to verbally describe a design.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Having the same point of contact over our extended engagement has made it easy to work with 4e Agency. Our liaison knows our company so well that we never have to waste time explaining things to them more than once.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes, notable cultural differences were apparent in the work they produced. Their style occasionally differed from what our European client base is accustomed to.
