The process began with the creation of a detailed wireframe, establishing a solid foundation with a robust core database and user authentication system. The project was structured into 10 development sprints, each focusing on specific features such as Onboarding, template setup, shift management, payment setup, applications, work products, and reports, leading to the preparation of our Minimum Viable Product (MVP). 
The MVP was critical in initial user testing and feedback integration, paving the way for final refinements. Post-MVP, the company remained actively involved, helping us enhance the software further by addressing user feedback and adding new functionalities. Their comprehensive support and technical expertise have been instrumental in the successful deployment and continuous improvement of our product.

The measurable outcomes of the project were clearly demonstrated in the enhanced usability and marketability of the final product. Each development sprint delivered specific features and improvements, which were meticulously outlined and agreed upon during the project's conception phase. These deliverables included the user's ability to enroll in the web app, select shifts and understand job tools. Likewise, the administrator was able to lists shifts, upload job tools, and easily use the app., each contributing to a user-friendly and market-efficient final product.

Build out a new version of a key mobile used by our Roofing Technical Representatives to do on site inspections. The original app was build in 2013 and we needed to get onto newer technology and build out security and new functionality to meet our requirements. 
The team worked with us through a scoping phase and then we moved to design, develop, testing and launch/support. They spent time with Tech Reps to understand their unique environment and job requirements to ensure we were meeting MVP but also newer functionality.

Very engaged test audience, very low "cost" of transition because of the ease of use of the app and attention to the previous app, thorough testing kept us on time and budget, lower cost to maintain in future through APIs, higher security due to design.

Though I was only involved for a portion of the development process, the end product exceeded expectations. We had a collection of software in our Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, offices that we needed someone to understand, support, and make ongoing modifications to.

What was the scope of their involvement?

303 Software provides research results, project estimation, and engineering for our software stack. The team provides second-tier engineering and application development support for applications in our Canonsburg office used for scheduling closed captioning events, captioner scheduling, billing, and payroll. 303 Software is involved in a systems design capacity in an integration and migration process to move captioners from being managed in the software in our Canonsburg office to software in our Greenwood Village, Colorado, office.303 Software has added user help to an application called Scheduler V4 and another called OrdAck. The team has modernized and re-skinned some web interfaces. 303 Software has created some batch reporting processes for accounting to help integrate financials between our Canonsburg and Greenwood Village offices. The team has updated our intranet site from Visual Studio 2010 to Visual Studio 2018, along with a modernization of the C# code to reflect changes in the .NET world.303 Software has handled analysis, design, and coding for the applications. The Canonsburg applications were all built in C# or Visual Basic.NET and were desktop applications. 303 Software has worked directly with our staff in our Canonsburg office on the analysis and design portions of the projects. Implementation and installation were done in concert with our desktop support team.

A quick list of initiatives they were/are a part of: - 2017 - reskinning and modernization of websites - 2018-2020 - became primary development and support for our Canonsburg users and software suite; accounting batch reporting project - 2022 - updated Scheduler V4 and OrdAck applications with online help - 2023 - modernized and updated Intranet codebase - 2024 - became primary development support for the VITAC closed captioning software suite (encompassing Event Booking, Captioner Scheduling, Caption Delivery, Accounting Interfaces, etc.) - 2025 - became primary technical management for VITAC closed captioning software suite

303 Software is great to work with; they’re flexible and very capable in terms of our requirements. The team does a very good job of meeting project needs and schedules. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.
