Halo Lab is helping us with a complete brand strategy and rebranding project. The scope includes competitor research, brand discovery, brand positioning, visual identity development, logo exploration, color palette recommendations, and the creation of a cohesive brand system that can be used across our website, marketing materials, social media, and other customer-facing channels.

The project is still underway, but we’ve already seen significant progress. Halo Lab has delivered a thorough competitor analysis, valuable strategic insights, and a clear framework for our brand positioning moving forward. Their research has helped us identify opportunities for differentiation, visual consistency, and long-term brand growth. Just as importantly, all project milestones have been delivered on time, communication has been excellent, and we feel confident in the direction of the rebrand based on the work completed so far.

The project management has been outstanding. The team has consistently delivered items on time, communicated clearly throughout the process, and always kept us informed of next steps and project timelines. Daria has been incredibly organized, responsive, and proactive, making the entire experience feel seamless and well managed. Even when we’ve had questions or needed additional clarification, the team has been quick to respond and extremely helpful. We always feel heard, supported, and confident that the project is moving in the right direction.

What has impressed us most is how strategic and thorough Halo Lab’s process has been. Rather than jumping straight into design, the team has invested significant time into understanding our business, customers, competitors, and long-term goals. Their level of research, organization, and communication has been exceptional. We’ve also appreciated how collaborative and supportive the team has been throughout the process, they truly feel like a partner rather than a vendor. The combination of strong strategic thinking, creativity, and outstanding project management has made them stand out from other agencies we’ve worked with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Halo Lab could have done differently?

We don’t have any meaningful areas for improvement to note at this time. The team has been professional, responsive, organized, and proactive throughout the engagement. Communication has been excellent, deliverables have been on time, and we’ve been extremely happy with the experience so far.

I’m the head of IT and marketing for a real estate agency specializing in new builds and off-the-plan properties. We work closely with investors, first-time buyers, and owner-occupiers across New Zealand.

What challenge were you trying to address with Halo Lab?

We wanted to update our website from Squarespace to Webflow to allow for CMS capabilities. We also wanted to upload our entire range of listings to our website to manage them properly. In addition to that, we wanted to update and clarify our services and business model for customers, both B2C and B2B.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Halo Lab designed and developed a Webflow website according to our branding. They also created custom functions and features, including interactive maps showing our listings across the country and clear listing pages with relevant information.

We worked together from September 2025–January 2026.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Halo Lab's work allowed us to capture leads from website inquiries and downloads. Our website hardly generated organic leads in the past, and now we're seeing a 300%–400% increase. We can also create paid marketing and add campaigns towards our listings to drive web traffic, as we're confident that we can capture leads. Overall, we've seen a 50% increase in web traffic.

How did Halo Lab perform from a project management standpoint?

They were great. Yaroslav (Project Manager) was awesome to deal with during most of the project. Once they delivered the project, we went through ongoing bug fixes, feature updates, and implementations. Dana (Project Manager) was also great to work with. They delivered on time, and we had tight deadlines.We communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Once we were aligned on the idea and the scope, it was very hands-off for me to sort out. As long as I had the scope clear, the better it was.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could check for bugs more robustly, but it wasn't a major issue.

Halo Design Studio supported Tessellate in the strategy, design, and buildout of a new multi-audience website that introduces Tessellate’s physician-first career platform and clearly differentiates its value for physicians, employers, and medical leaders. Their work included brand translation, UI/UX design, content structure, and asset development to ensure the final site was visually cohesive, intuitive, and aligned with Tessellate’s broader product and messaging framework.

What challenge were you trying to address with Halo Lab?

We needed support in designing and developing our new website. We also needed support in designing a leadership self-assessment app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Halo Lab designed and developed our new website. We had built a new brand separately and brought it to them. The team implemented our new brand in the design and development of the new website. We provided them with our branding book so they could build the website around it. 

Halo Lab underwent an assessment process in which they researched our brand and competitors. Based on that, they made a series of recommendations. Then, they created a mock-up and began building the website page by page. The team used a similar process for the app.

The app was available for iOS and Android, and also included a web app. To be clear, the team only designed the app; they didn’t develop it. Meanwhile, we wanted to focus attention on our people and reviews. When users came to the website, they could dynamically click on reviews. We also have a wheel model — as users scrolled down, the wheel moved on its own.

We worked with a project manager, designers, developers, a finance operations associate, and the COO.

I found them on Google and used Clutch to review them.

We spent around $25,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from July–November 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We launched the website only recently, so we don’t have any metrics yet. However, Halo Lab’s work exceeded our expectations. The aesthetic and brand implementation were fantastic. It was a lovely experience.

How did Halo Lab perform from a project management standpoint?

Halo Lab’s project management was excellent. They delivered the work on time and on budget. We had constant communication. We used Figma the entire time. The team used Notion for project management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Halo Lab’s creativity and execution were impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re a Ukraine-based organization, but their website doesn’t provide a sense of who the people there are. When you’re in the US, you’re worried about being protected under American laws. Halo Lab is registered in Andorra, which is not an independent country. All of that adds to the complexities of engaging with them. They would benefit from figuring out how to be registered in the US or being more transparent about what kind of agency they’re running, so people feel more at ease investing with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have as much clarity as possible about how you want your brand to look and feel, and what you want your users to feel and do when they engage with your product.

2. Website UX/UI Our responsive website UX/UI design and development to promote our product with emphasis on the software features and the services per country page. 
3. Software UX/UI customization Re-design our software according to our branding elements and guidelines, including new customized pages and third-party integrations.

Project management team was very dedicated, client-oriented, and easy to communicate with. We had a first project manager for the branding and website UX/UI who easily understood our brand mood and successfully coordinated the design team to achieve the goals before the deadlines. 

After, we were assigned a new project manager for the software UI/UX customization who was more specialized in product development. He was super collaborative by providing great insights/suggestions on our product, overcoming customization constraints successfully, and communicating directly with the software team.

Our requirements were quite industry specific, since we wanted to have a modern, yet very clear and intuitive design of a monitoring and analytical platform. For the rebranding project, we wanted to unify branding across our patients’ app, showcasing professionalism, convenience, and consistency.
