For the CMS Dashboard, we needed a tableau dashboard integrated with current CMS data. Essentially, this would show us what Medicare plans are performing well in each individual market. Each dashboard needed to show multiple visualizations, and it had to be adaptable to our clients' demographics (State, plan type, carrier, etc.). Bugendai did this and did it well, providing quality visuals that have been very useful for the agencies we work with.
For the Commissions project, we had Bugendai build out a whole process for uploading commission statements into our saleforce and connecting it to various policies, agents, carriers, and more. This project is close to done and willl be a huge benefit for both our company and the agencies we have partnered with. Information is key in any business!

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• With both project we needed to be able to provide value to our partner agencies.
• For the CMS project we have definitely received feedback from our agencies that it is a very helpful, tool.
• For the Commission project we have not yet finished it, but once it is all done we should be saving a couple grand a month because of it, plus our agencies will have a better understanding of their commissions.

They delivered projects relatively quickly and were able to turn around fixes within a week most times, sometimes even a couple of days.

Bugendaitech was able to create a custom record template for our loan servicing portfolio. The date from each record was used to auto populate the relevant document we needed to be executed with certain record information. When the document was signed and returned back to us, Bugendaitech was able to autogenerate an invoice with relevant data from the record, including capping fees for certain services. 

Lastly, Bugendaitech was able to create a KPI dashboard that would summarize the status for each order, including measuring certain kep performance indicators for sharing with clients.

• Generation of workflows in production without the occurrence of any bugs or issues.

We met twice weekly virtually. Tasks were also assigned in Jira, which included deadlines. They were always responsive and completed requests on time.

After the success of this initial project, we've since worked on 2 additional projects to create more efficiencies and automations in our Salesforce environment.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched on Upwork, inviting a handful of qualified vendors to respond to our proposal. Daniel provided the most professional response and showed that his personal background, skills, and experience doing high-level marketing work with major companies would provide a strong MARKETING skill set as well as understanding of the CRM technology. A strong marketing background is a key element to our success with our clients.

For all projects, we take the lead by demonstrating during a Zoom meeting a specific challenge and any methods by which we think it might be solved. We rely on the technical expertise of the BugendaiTech team to help us brainstorm effective solutions, settling on at least one of those to test and prove.

Inevitably, they quickly understand the nature of the challenge and make knowledgeable recommendations. They provide updates as they proceed to test the solution, providing ample opportunities to review, discuss, and make any necessary modifications. Reasonable deadlines are agreed upon and met. Their team responds in the most timely and professional ways!

Usually two or three team members work on a project, always with the same project manager/tech, who is a quick study when it comes to getting up and running efficiently and delivering a quality product every time.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our e-commerce integration issue has been resolved to everyone's satisfaction. The transition from Salesforce Classic to Lightning has gone smoothly; they have anticipated every possible obstacle and executed all the right solutions, doing all of the heavy lifting involved. We continue to request and receive appropriate assistance, relying on their high expertise in Salesforce products.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very easy to communicate with everyone involved via Zoom and email.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The quality level is consistent. The fact that their U.S.-based liaison really understands marketing best practices helps enormously. It is fairly easy to find companies who may understand the tech side of the CRM platform, but they often end up making the wrong decisions when it comes to delivering the appropriate sales or marketing result. Our firm needs to be able to "speak" sales and marketing to our technical experts in order to achieve the best results.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We really can't think of anything they could have done differently or need to improve. We are feeling very fortunate to have found this team!

Our project has stringent timelines because we need to meet our business goals — we have global business users who are dependent on this Salesforce integration being successful. BugendaiTech Pvt Ltd has been great at meeting project milestones. Since their team is so experienced, BugendaiTech Pvt Ltd knows exactly how to deliver what we need; their projects are high-quality and almost bug-free. Our current contract will end soon, but we plan to renew it for at least six months.

I appreciate that BugendaiTech Pvt Ltd established coding standards at the beginning of the project, along with integration best practices. Their team is helping us ensure that the Salesforce integration is maintainable and scalable as we look to the future.

The end goal is for the user to be able to utilize the landing pages seamlessly without needing to have any knowledge of the backend code.

I was looking for someone with a can-do attitude, with the desire to troubleshoot and problem-solve to meet our needs, instead of telling us that it cannot be done. The team was excellent in doing those things.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had a time-crunch on this project so there was not ample time for us to work on it and we did have to extend our timelines. I wish that we had met our timelines a bit earlier. It wasn't a huge deal because we did have some flexibility, but I would recommend that the team also helps establish realistic timelines in the future with their clients.
