We built an MVP application designed for independent contractors and small businesses to generate invoices and manage clients using voice commands or AI chat prompts. The React Native app integrates OpenAI Whisper and ChatGPT APIs, Stripe for payments, Resend for notifications, and Supabase for the backend. It also includes a proprietary CRM that self-enriches with information from the chat, enabling more efficient client management and streamlined workflows.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We initially defined seven key milestones, later adding an eighth. Each milestone represented an integral part of the application, including backend setup, UX/UI design, API integrations, QA, and more. All milestones were clearly defined and uniquely measurable, ensuring progress could be tracked effectively.

The project scope expanded, which led to the addition of an eighth deliverable milestone. As a result, the project ran slightly behind schedule. Throughout these changes, the team remained professional and accommodating, and we maintained a strong mutual understanding every step of the way.

The team brought extensive experience in ERP and accounts receivable solutions, which was invaluable to the project. Fady, in particular, demonstrated both deep and broad expertise, guiding the project across multiple areas, including overall company strategy, UX/UI design, AI strategy, and application development.

More frequent updates on milestone progress, real-time GitHub tracking, and closer adherence to timelines would further improve the workflow.

The team delivered a great MVP based on high level requirements and vision on what was expected regarding product and related vision/mission we're trying to achieve. Development of design and features as required for the product. Framework for core feature set to be emphasized on App including social elements. Integration with back-end CRM / other intelligence tools along with integration and development of OpenAI for Intelligent Chat and Search.

I hired Fady & Blue to build a chrome extension. The extension had to interact with gmail and pull data from the browser and Linkedin. His team also built a website with a signup flow and admin panel to control user access for beta testing, AND monitored the back end infra on AWS for us.

Blue Developments built us a custom Google Chrome application based on designs that we had provided. They built the app, tested it with us, made iterations, and they submitted it to the Google Chrome App Store.

I'm the Chief Product Officer for a Venture Studio, DVX Ventures. In the last two years, we have started nine new ventures.

We hired Blue Developments to build us a web extension to test out a new venture focused on high-consideration shopping. The goal was to have a working prototype to determine if we had good product market fit or not.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found the vendor through Upwork. The deciding factors were previous experience, the billing rate, and work product from the first week.

Chrome browser extension written in React with a Google Cloud backend. Technologies used were React and Node JS.

We primarily interacted through Fady who was the lead but sometimes parts of our project were done by others.

The extension met our expectations with regards to performance, quality, and usability.

We used Slack to communicate daily. Due to the time difference, we often scheduled sync-ups for more complicated questions and issues.

I though the company was particularly fast on execution and responsive to issues that arose.

Proactively schedule check-ins to go over bugs and issues.
