Instead of simply leaving digital comments, we were able to collaborate with a point person on their team (a lot of times it’s a video conference). This is much more effective than explaining requirements through written paragraphs. A lot of times, the coder is sitting with them and makes changes before we even hang up the phone. They ask questions ahead of time and invest effort in mocking up quick examples. This ensures we’re on the same page before they put weeks of work into the solution.
